Top of copies come out unwrinkled, bottom two inches are rippled. How to fix this?

You should try feeding one sheet at a time and make sure u are using paper that is compatible

There are three places to clear the jam: 1. Paper tray (remove it and feel inside, clear paper. 2.Open the front (above the manual feed slot) inside is the drum - remove that and the toner cartridge, if necessary. 3. On the back - open the rear chute. You should be able to remove the paper in one of those areas. Have you tried a new toner and drum unit? if not please do so. If that doesn't work then it is a scanner lamp failure and will need replacing.
You can fix it but trying to obtain this part for such an old machine will be hard. Don't know the part number sorry.

Possible.... other possible solution is a dirty drum... try changing the toner cartridge and cleaning the drum

There must be a strip of glass about one inch wide, next to
the large glass. There is the problem !
Clean that strip thourougly. When you use the feeder the pages
are scanned thru the small strip of glass.

Are they small specks or blotches? Bad Toner Cartridge
Are they lines:
Horizontal - Transfer Roller or Charge Roller
Vertical - Bad Toner OR Bad Fuser.
Note: A bad toner cartridge can render all of the parts listed here useless. Check for build up or lines on the cartridge reflective drum. Avoid light, as with film.
If they are a mix of both, the device needs to be cleaned with a can of compressed air. You must remove the cartridge, paper tray(s, and fuser to create clear path.
