Scanning instructions on the cannon mp190

Scanning isn't related to the cartridges problem unless you meant copying. The instructions to align the cartridges might help, if it insists on alignment after new cartridges are added.

Did you remove the (usually pink) tabs from the cartridges before installing?
Did you get a printout from a test page or from the cleaning operation?
Also try a removal, then reinstall of the device.

SCANER WORKING GOOD CONDITION IS ALLWAYS PRINTER WORKING SO PLEASE REPLACE THE CCD UNIT

If the lights are blinking for the cartridges, then there is not enough ink.
Get new ones or refilled ones and try it again.

Or there may be enough ink, but the electronics on the carts are not working, could be a short, or an open circuit.

You can't jsut use the SCAN button. YOu need to load the software. Just go in the control panel and click on Scanners and Cameras. You will see the Canon icon there. Click it and scan from that menu. The SCAN button will work once the software is loaded properly.

Solutions List:

• Press ON/OFF switch to reset the multifunction device
• Wait until the print job from the computer has completed.

how do i scan from my mp190 all in one printer to files

i got a same prob..i can't print,scan and copy and the refill warning always appeared..i hv refill the cartridge and i shut it down and try again and again..it's the cartridge prob or the printer prob..?

all you have to do when you scan an image for example , you will set it to enlarge image.. do that it will appear big.. or the same as your pictured scan..

The Canon rep told you the correct information. The printer companies have included circuits on their cartridges that will not allow you to refill them. The printer reads the code and knows that the cartridge already ran out of ink. To date no one has figured out a hack for this issue.

You can download operators manuals from the Canon website at www.usa.canon.com...The websit can be difficult to navigate and Canon is not very helpful.Good Luck
