Where is the reset button on the refridgerator ice makers.

You can find the reset button at the bottom of the ice maker. Remove the ice tray to locate it. Remove the ice tray. The red button you see is the reset button

Depending on the type of refrigerator you have most have a very small reset button around where it dumps the ice you may have to lookup your model. If I was you I would google "How to reset (YOURFRID) ice maker" where YOURFRID is put the name and model of your refrigerator.

press the button that turns light on and off 5 times and it should reset filter life but you should get new filter if it does not reset look in manual to reset proceedure

You have not provided a model number so I will address the basics of a ice maker. There are many different kinds.

Not many ice makers have reset buttons. If you have a ice maker with a red reset button in the front you probably have a plastic flex mold. Your ice maker like many others has a control module assembly at the front. This module is actually a computer with a circuit board and a motor. The module tells the ice maker solenoid valve to open and fill the mold with water and what volume of water. Then the temperature sensor tells the control module that the ice cubes are frozen. The module turns on the motor to harvest and flex the mold.

Under your ice maker mold has a white wire beneath it. This is the temperature sensor. Your temperature sensor has failed. This is an solid state part of your ice maker and not replaceable. The ice maker that you have is not repairable. Some ice makers are repairable, but not yours.

When you push the restart button you are forcing your ice maker motor to turn on and harvest the ice cubes.

Normally you should get 8-10 ice cube harvest within a 24 hour period.

This ice maker is on the door, so
remove ice bucket
move your fingers up under the ice maker tray guard on the left side until you find a button
you may have to press this several times, perhaps hold down firmly until you see some action
then quickly replace bucket & close door

You can unplug the unit for 2 minutes then plug it back in for a hard reset

check the fill tube for ice blockage.some times water will freeze in the tube and stop the water flow.also if the unit has a reset button on the ice make reset it a few times.and if tat does not change any thing check the fill valve and water supply line.last thing too do is replace the ice maker

well ur refrigretor is;nt producing enough gas to produce ice make sure u hire some expert who can examin and solve it.
