Washer does not work well on spin cycle admiral aav7000aww

Clothes are still wet after washer spins. Is there a part or belt I can purchase and replace to fix this problem? The washer works good except that it doesn't spin the water all the way out of the clothes - I think it is just not spinning fast enough - it doesn't matter whether it is a small load or a large load either.

I am having the same problem with my admiral washer except it is now making a grinding noise. I proped it up and check the drive belt as was suggested It's pretty stiff and sounds like a bearing is going out . Does anyone have any suggestions which part has went south.

No you need to check ur clutch, u can check it by running the spin cycle for a few minutes then shut it off and turn machine up so u can look under it. get a spray bottle with cold water and alil soap detergent, then spray the clutch with it, if it shows or steams up or sizzles then the clutch is slipping and bad. the cluth is in the center near the tranny, should look like a round siver pc of metal about 5 inches in diameter

SOURCE: I have an Admiral washer

The washer has a floating motor mount. Sometimes the motor mount will stick in one position and the belt will slip during the spin. UNPLUG the machie. Get some blocks of wood and clock up the front legs 4 to 6 inches. Then reach under the bottom and just squeeze the belt together. Your trying to get the motor mount to slide in it's mount. (normal) After you let go of the blet the motor should retension the belt. Do this several times forcing the motor to float. You can if necessary shoot some WD 40 around the mount sliding area. DO NOT get it on the belt. Remove the belt if you have to and reinstall it after you lubricate the motor mount. Any oil will work if you do not have WD 40. Like I said DO NOT get any oils on the belt. After your done with lubrication squeeze the belt mid point again and let go. The belt MUST re-tension. It is not a horribly tight tension but tension that is noticed.

If after you do the belt tension check / motor mount slide lube and you still have the problem just respond here. There are more things that can be checked. I will gladly help you.

SOURCE: MY ADMIRAL WASHER WONT SPIN FAST ENOUGH..IT DOES SPIN BUT WHEN IT STOPS THE CLOTHES ARE STILL DRIPPING WET

Sounds like a whirlpool or inglis type belt drive with a loose belt or bad basketdrive[clutch].
Could be the set screw backed out on the basket, thats a pretty common problem.
I'd need a model number to know who made it though.

All cycles work but clothes come out wet, top loader model# AAV7000AWW is there a lint trap that needs cleaning?

Lint traps are in dryers, not washers If clothes still come out wet then perhaps the water pump is not working properly and/or the drum is not spinning fast enough to allow centrifugal force to remove water from clothes.

Top load washer Admiral # AAV7000AWW

I would replace the belt part # 21352320 which cost about 20 bucks. Tilt the machine back when off and empty and look for a glazed belt with maybe some cracking and wear.
