Is there a way to upgrade the android software for a thorn 55' 3d smart tv? Mins about 12 months old and some of the newer apps dont work as good as they should. Cheers

Its is probably not available for your tv. Chances are it never will.

MAC, how is it connected, to your router? all that tells me is the internet works on the mac. as does its browser..

most tablets have an app store. if you have one go there get the netflix app and then logon to your account if you dont have one you need to signup and pay $7.99 month for free movies. if you have a smart tv. then you need internet access to and keyboard to go to netflix.com, unless your tv has this app program already on it. then its just a matter of internet.
