Unlock toshiba laptop

Some toshiba laptops have trouble with the touchpad locking up. I have tried using a wireless mouse and it has helped whenever the touchpad locks up. to unlock (I'm assuming you mean log in) you can click space instead of using the mouse.

My toshiba touchpad doesnt move the mouse, it scrolls up and down on things

check the mouse settings in the control panel, these functions may be locked out or their may be a fault in the driver software.

Asus netbook cursor stuck

Make sure there is not a lock on the top middle of the touchpad that you can press to toggle the lock/unlock. if so, press it. Otherwise I would try booting up in safe mode and see if the cursor locks.

Asus touch pad too sensitive

There should be settings in the touch pad software on your machine or in the task bar that you can directly access to change all manner of personal idiosyncrasies related to HID. (Human interface device) Try also going into the control panel and looking for input devices, mouse, touchpad and adjusting the settings from within there.

My Asus Eee netbook keyboard seems to "cut and insert" when I am writing sentences. I will start writing and all of a sudden I will notice that it will start typing from wherever the cursor was to begin...

My eee netbook will do that too. it seems that parts of my thumbs or palms tend to hit the touchpad at times clicking the cursor on different parts of the page? could this be happening to you? try disabling the touchpad with the little silver button on the left hand side of the keyboard at the top. If this does not help, you may need to replace the keyboard. It can be ordered from the asus online store.

Hope this helps you!

Cursor is frozen and can;t move on my laptop

Plug in a USB mouse, and go to Contol Panel>system>device manager and click on the +sign next to pointing devices. Right click touchpad and uninstall the touchpad, then reboot the computer, remove the usb mouse. Windows will pick up the touchpad as new hardware and re-install the drivers for it etc..

I hope this helps
