Hi. I am getting the error code 12 on my coffee machine. The manual says to switch off the machine for 30 seconds and turn it back on but the code still shows up. Any help would be great. Thanks
Depending on the coffee machine you have, it most likely is the filter inside the water tank. Remove the filter and clean or replace it. It may be clogged up. Make sure to unplug the power cord during this process. If that doesn't fix it, check all orifices on it for clogs. Plug it back in and let it do its thing. Good luck and hope this helps!
Thanks Tom but that isn't the issue, we don't have a filter in the reservoir. Error 12 There was no pulse from the ejection switch so possibly a switch problem or worse still some grief on the control PCB. This will also be associated with the cleaning the drawer problem. From memory the switch/es are located above the used grounds bin.
You can reset the error code by the follow steps. Turn the knob to the off or reset position, 12 o'clock. Turn the knob to the 6 o'clock position. Press and hold the spin button and while holding the spin button turn the knob to the 7 o'clock position. Continue holding the spin button for about 5 seconds then release the spin button and now turn the knob to off When your turn it back on it should have cleared the error code.
Hi Error HF means that a water inlet problem has occurred. If after 30 seconds the control does not detect water entering machine and then valves will be turned off and the error code will be displayed. Press PAUSE/CANCEL twice to clear the display. If the machine is not filling then check whether both valves at water source are turned ON and inlet hose are not plugged. If the machine is filling fine then chec the pressure switch hose and the drain hose for siphoning (also make sure water is not flowing back to the machine from drain hose). Check wire harness connections to: Inlet Valves, Pressure Switch, Drain Pump, Flow Meter, and Central Control Unit (CCU). Hope this helps... Please post back if you need more information. Daniel
Thanks for using FixYa. Error code F/H means no water was detected entering machine or Pressure switch trip not detected. If after 30 seconds the control does not detect water entering machine and then valves will be turned off and the error code will be displayed. It can also happen if the control has turned the water valves on and after 8 minutes the flow meter has detected 10.5 gallons of water passing through it, but has not detected the pressure switch trip, the valves will be turned off and the error code will flash. press clear (yellow) and press 1,0,7 and press and HOLD the stop button 5 secs. (red) press 1 when u see the copy sp mode and press 7 (datalog) and press ok, look for the sc/ jam counter reset. press the execute 2x. turn of the machine in the main switch (orange switch on the lower front side) the shortcut mode is by pressing 7807 na press execute
In reading the manual for this coffee pot, it needs to have the descaling procedure run. The manual lists running a mixture of 6 cups water and 6 cups vinegar in a normal brew cycle...twice to clean hard water deposits from the machine. It says to make sure to remove the filter basket. Once the procedure is complete, unplug the unit and replug in to remove the E2 code.
