Hts3106/f7 wifi card? Is there a card wheres the antenna. Like the power of wifi receiver on this on but don't like features.want to put in rca which has better apps. Disabled no income for2 years

To remove and replace the WiFi card in a MacBook Pro A1286, you will need to follow these steps:

9. Insert the new WiFi card into the motherboard and secure it with the screws.
10. Reconnect the antenna cables to the new WiFi card.
11. Replace the bottom case, making sure to align the holes with the screws and secure the case with the screws.
12. Replace the battery and power on the MacBook Pro to test the new WiFi card.

I may not be understanding what you are stating, so bear with me;

1) The Wireless Modem antenna wires are up in the Display Assembly,

In otherwords they should already be there.

2) The 802.11 Mini PCI Card, is a Wireless Module.
It goes in the Mini PCI Compartment, under the Mini PCI Compartment Cover, located on the bottom of the laptop.

It's made by Broadcom,

See at the Top right where it states Main, and has a white Side Arrow?
This terminal is where the Black wire (Lead) of the wireless antenna connects to.

The other terminal, AUX, is where the White wire connects to.

i have the same system. all you have to do is when you connect your xbox 360, press the surround button on the remote and then use the arrow buttons to change it to dolby music pro2 or multi channel audio. same goes with any device you connect. hope it helps. In my case the xbox is connected to the Tv via HDMI and bluray player is connected to xbox via compoent cable

you may be in an area where am stations don't come in,, am uses straight lines of frequency where FM uses a modulated signal, which travels much farther, I bought a antenna signal booster from radio shack for a few dollars , and was able to get the stations, some pretty static filled though, but the more local ones came in ok, another thing to check is that the unit is plugged into a grounded receptacle ,

hook up the antenna at the back and try to tune-in to your favorite radio station.
read the description at the back of your rca rt2250, how to connect your antenna.
connect it properly and raise up the antenna, put it where the signal is good.
