It seems that Binatone and Tele Atlas, who provide the software/mapping, have dropped all support for this (if it ever existed). I'm now looking to see if you can change the firmware/os
The software for Binatone Sat Navs is not free. You could always contact the retailer if they mis-sold this item to you. Alternatively, for an update call/email Binatone and they will send an SD Card to you for around £32.99.
The software needs reloading, if it is under 12 months old and you have the receipt, contact Binatone on 0845 345 9677 and they will organise for this to be done under the warranty. If the Sat Nav is over 12 months old or you do not have the receipt they can still resolve this for you if you pay £32.99 which will include brand new software and the latest maps available- it's worth it rather than purchasing a new Sat Nav!
my dad bought this a few years ago and never used it and he only found it when recently moving house he cant get any maps on his binatone satnav a350 when we press navigation it doesnt do anything it stays on the screen. im picking up 8 gps signals please help
Binatones run igo. I would recommend finding the latest software and trying an update - then see if the problem still occurs. There is also a setting in the map view for making the map change to the direction of travel - this may be causing an issue. "austech" is a good place to start.
I have accidentaly damaged the screen of my binatone carrera x350,rest the navigator is in working condition , the problem is that the touch screen has been scattered .can i get it repaired
