see page 9 it is not a dws-400 but it most likely works similar to your unit.

what inputs does the old Daewood / VCR combo use is it RCA and Video cable on an AV input? How many Av inputs are there in TV ? Does the DVD player have AV out audio out (Yellow) RCA (Red and White). If you do not have enough AV inputs on the Tv use an AV switch box . and Switch two AV RCA inputs /DVD and VCR and into one output to the TV. You may be able to feed the AV out RCA out into the VCR AV in and switch the input on the VCR.

Check the using connection code for inside brake to it conductor. Try with an other set of AV cable. Check the input selection. Check both AV inputs, av-1 & AV-2. If no luck, the input selector IC at circuit board is faulty, and should be replaced.

Make sure the cable is plugged into input 5 if your tv is on input 5. Make sure that you don't need to be on the AV input. I suggest using a hdmi cable also to bring the resolution up to 1080p. Make sure the wire isn't shorted also.

Any of these will work.

I may put money that some one did stole your internal cable from the power supply to the main board !

Don't be surprised they did it to me at LG company .

try fuse f404 on power board, feeds av and other screen circuits but not sound and tuner

change devices to other ports, if you are sure some ports are not working properly then you will need to replace the mainboard.

You can easely replaced the input/output AV connection. But first use an new AV cable. I fyou need a servicemanual send an email to Rotronica in the Netherlands

no if yours doesnt have any inputs then there is not a way is there any inputs for another type of cable you might be able to get an adapter
