When I turn ps3 on it goes straight to playstation store and I cannot return to game

Hi Binma1990, Your best bet on getting this fixed is to go to Gamestop store and get a DVD cleaning disc kit. This in many cases will work to clean the lens of the laser without opening the PS3 and voiding the warranty. Follow the instructions on the kit in detail to get best results. Order new blu ray laser online and switch it out yourself with help on the internet. Look up how to replace ps3 laser lens, and you can get photos to help you. I just got my new laser 3 days ago. I switched it out and everything is working great.

ok right so your ps3 wont read disks huh well first of all id like to say this has happened to me twice and it has worked perfectly for me and i quarentee it will work for you ...

first save all your data to a memory stick

secondly go to settings, system settings, and format your ps3 by clicking on full format this will delete all your filles :( but will refresh your ps3


BTW this formatting thing will take atleast 4 hours so just leave your ps3 on and chill out watch t.v or something :)
