My lg 4 has a Screen lock password myb grandson putbon my phone then forgot what it was how can I unlock it with out doing a factory reset

     if ur have forgotten ur phone lock code, it won work with any sim u insert...u can't go inside d phone, unless d lock is removed, which is possible if u know d code....so take it to an authorised samsung service centre and tel ur problem....they ll remove d lock and restore it to factory settings...because oly they have d software to unlock ur phone....if ur mobile is within warranty period, this would be done at free of cost....

The code should be the last 4 digits of your cell number. However, if you changed that, then try going to reset it. It'll prob cost you though.

As long as you know your security code you can retreive your lock code. On the Lotus dial ##3282# scroll down to Advanced, choose View, then scroll down to option 5 which should be the Lock Code and select it. You will need to enter your security code here which typically is 6 zeros.
