I have a HP Photosmart D7160 and it won't print 4 X 6. It has black marks on the wrong side when it comes out, but not picture

Cartridge Problem replaced it.

First change the old head with the new box pack head if the problem persist then change carriage unit the problem will be clear.

1. Turn printer off and disconnect the USB cable from the PC to printer
2. Uninstall the printer driver and software-->here's how.

Navigate here for printer driver and software .(Select your Operating System and click next)
Install the printer driver and software -->here's how

try to reinstall the drivers
everything is going well with the hardware
only software has some bugs

use a GENUINE cartrige and check the cartridge expiration date

Unless you set the printer settings to black and white it mixes colored ink to create black. It does this by default. Go to start printers and faxes. Right click on printer icon.Click printing preferences to change this.If youre using hp tool box setting is grayscale black only.

Cause The Photo Fix feature was originally designed to reduce/enhance printed pictures by making colors more vibrant. However, it can also have a side-effect to make some prints have more red tone than desired. In the HP Photosmart D7100 series printer, this feature is “ON” by default.

how can i print 4x6 photo paper ? it says load paper in the main tray its only printing with large plain paper , even if its set to photo tray , and if i put the 4x6 in the main tray it says wrong paper zize ...
