SOURCE: system is samsung HT-TWZ415. all speakers work, not the sub

Check all of your connections, and make sure all cords are firmly connected.
Make sure if the subwoofer has a power switch, it is on, and if not, that it is likely to be faulty.

SOURCE: No sound from a Samsung HT-Q40?

It's part of an HTiB (Home Theater in a Box). Get the speakers that it's designed to mate with. HTIB's are not like components. Due to proprietary connectors and who knows what else under the hood, they are not intended to be mixed and matched with other units.

This unit has standard speaker connections so you might be able to find some speakers to hook up to it, but its original speakers were rated at 3-ohms impedance and the spec for the amp is also at 3-ohms. You probably won't blow anything up trying them, but don't expect earth-shattering volume from typical 8-ohm speakers. As the saying goes, individual results will vary.

How exactly did you expect the TV to be the speakers for this thing? It doesn't have an outbound audio connection. TV's are traditionally the part that makes pretty moving pictures while other electronics and speakers take care of the audio end.

If you need the manual, go to retrevo.com, register, find it using >>> Samsung HT-Q40 <<< and download it for free.

SOURCE: The front right speaker channel on my Samsung

Normal 0

This is a common problem on this model. The fault is caused by the PULSUS PS9829B digital audio processor. We ordered it in from a Samsung authorized service centre.

Can I add more speakers to my HT-J5500W Samsung sound system.

The HT-J5500W can only support a 5.1 speaker system. The main part of the entertainment system supports a direct connection with the front right, front left and center speakers and sub-woofer. The wireless receiver module connects the surround right and left speakers to the rest of the system.

You would need a different amplifier/receiver to switch to a 7.1 or other speaker system using more speakers. You may be able to upgrade the individual speakers, as long as you don't exceed the power output limits of the system. The original speakers are 165 W each (front and surround speakers) and 170 W for the center speaker and the sub-woofer.

I hope this helps.

Hi there. I have a Samsung HT-D4500 home blu-ray system. It has been working perfectly and bang just stopped working. I have replaced the fuses and the changed the plug and still no joy. I am wondering if...

Have you tried resetting it? Take any disc out, unplug power, press stop button and plug power in. Wait 8 seconds and release stop button. If that does not work, it sounds like a transformer issue.

Static in speaker channel on my Samsung Surround Sound system

our started cracking and popping this morning. It seems from all the posts that it is always the right front speaker. With that kind of trend it can be traced back to mfg. Is there a recall, are they covering the cost?

My main unit will not connect to the rear unit

I had a similar problem but mine cut out intermittently.
First, check to make sure the speakers are plugged in solidly. I was plugged into an outlet with a fancy cover and it caused the connection to short out intermittently.

2. Make sure all your wires are securely attached to the receiver unit.

3. If that doesn't work, try turning off the wirless speakers and the Home Theater system and then turn on both of them.

If one of these doesn't work, Samsung has chat support available onlline.

Good Luck!

I have a samsung home theater system HT-X70. After 10 to 15 minutes the word protection scrolls across the screen then goodbye and finally the unit shuts itself off.

ther is dc voltage applying your speakers by amplifire itself and turn on speaker protection circuit itself.
it can be happens because
1.loose connection in amplifire board
2.faulty output section of amplifire
3.short circuit of speakers
4.error detecting circuit faulty.
if youcan open the cover and clean the circuit for dust and resolder the circuit with 30 W soldering iron cairfully.if you want the more asistence please come again
ican hlp you more.
