I have A 2006 Troy Built 77T series mower. When the mower is in forward gear, it jumps in and out of gear, unless I keep forward pressure on the shifter.

Troy Built Bronco, cannot be put into forward gear. Even when gear shift lever is put into forward position, the mower is still in reverse mode. Machine is 2 months old.

My troy biltwont move forward unless i rock it a little but if you let it slow down its same problem and it wont go forward in lower gears usually.also has ran a new battery dead

Check your drive belt it might be badly worn which would make it loose.

Mower slips in and out of forward gear but rides perfect in reverse;What do I need to adjust?

Reverse is a different gear set than forward gears. Sounds like forward gear set has a broken tooth. Not an easy fix.

Troy built lawn mower (riding) won't go full

I did not know riding mower had a gas pedal. I know if you leave the throttle control up all the way the engine will choke out. The pedal you are pushing, I think, is the forward/reverse hydrostatic transmission. You may need a new drive belt. The one you have now may be stretched out.

See if you can grind out a little where the shifter goes to let it go forward more that may help it stay in gear. or if it has been bent it will do this. see if you can bend it backwards to get a little more room for it to go forward.
