Re: I did a software update on my phone now half the apps...
Sounds like a corrupted update or incompatible apps. Try reinstalling the affected apps. If they now work then that is your best solution. Since you didn't specify your phone make/model the only other choice would be a reset *NOTE you will probably lose all data and contacts*. Then update the software and then install any apps

Hello, there! I believe several issues are correlated with the problem you have with your Note 10. If the phone is switching between apps on its own without any input from you, there could be several potential causes for this issue. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:
Restart your phone: Begin by restarting your phone. This can help refresh the system and potentially resolve any temporary software glitches causing the issue.
Check for screen sensitivity issues: It's possible that the touch screen sensitivity is set too high, leading to unintended touches and app switching. To adjust the touch sensitivity, go to Settings > Advanced Settings > Touch Sensitivity (or a similar option) and reduce the sensitivity level.
Update your phone's software: Make sure that your Infinix Note 10 is running the latest software version. Software updates often include bug fixes and improvements that can resolve issues like unexpected app switching. Go to Settings > System > Software Update to check for any available updates.
Disable or uninstall problematic apps: It's possible that a specific app installed on your phone is causing the issue. Try identifying any recently installed or updated apps and temporarily disable or uninstall them to see if the problem persists.
Clear app cache and data: App cache and data can sometimes become corrupted and cause unexpected behavior. Go to Settings > Apps & Notifications > [App Name] and select Clear Cache and Clear Data for the apps that are frequently switching.
Factory reset: If the issue persists after trying the above steps, you may consider performing a factory reset. This will erase all data and settings on your phone, so make sure to back up important information beforehand. Go to Settings > System > Reset > Factory Data Reset to initiate the reset process.
If none of the above steps resolve the issue, it's recommended to contact Infinix customer support or visit an authorized service center for further assistance. They will be able to provide more specific guidance based on your device's configuration and help diagnose and resolve the problem.
Typically, What's app requires a phone number attached to a device for it to work. Most tablets don't have cell phones built in, so Whats app won't run on them, or even load onto them.
There are work arounds. Search Google for "Installing Whats App on a tablet or a PC". I have Whats App installed on a tablet, using my landline phone number, and it works over WiFi.
By default, android apps are updated automaticly. Open Play Store, enter in main menu (3 parallel lines on the top left corner of the screen), Choose "Settings" and then choose "Auto-update apps". And then choose "Auto-update apps over Wi-Fi only".
Believe this or not.
Apparently this would be to do with the latest YouTube/Facebook application update and Facebook are working on it. In the mean time uninstalling the Facebook update has been working.
Try the following steps, after trying each method verify whether that worked or not.
Restart the device
If you are using mobile data try playing the video over Wi-Fi or if you already are using Wi-Fi, try a different connection to see if it amkes a difference. Make sure you have enough mobile data if you want to use that.
If you are using the apps rather than the browser, clear the cache for both apps by going into Settings > Apps > All > find the app & tap on it > tap Clear cache. You can also clear the data if clearing the cache doesn't work - just note that will reset the app.
Check the Play Store to see if either of those apps need to be updated, if so then update them.
Check whether the phone requires a system update under Settings > About phone > Software update > System.
If everything fails, there's only one step left before confirming it's a hardware issue : Use PC Companion to repair the phone software (Support zone > Update phone software > Repair phone software)
iOS: An app you installed unexpectedly quits, stops responding, or won't open
Learn what to do if an app you downloaded from the App Store on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch unexpectedly quits, stops responding, or won't open.
Follow the steps below and test the app after each step.
Restart the app
Close the app and open it again.
Restart your device
Turn the device off and on.
Update your device software and your apps
Update your device to the latest version of iOS.
Update your apps:
Open the App Store and tap Updates.
If updates are available, tap Update All.
If asked, enter your Apple ID password. The updates will download and install.
You might need a Wi-Fi connection to update some apps.
Install another app from the App Store
If your installed app won't open, download and install a free app that isn't on your iOS device. This should reset your Apple ID authorization.
Remember to use the same Apple ID that you used to download the app that you're having issues with.
Reinstall the app
Remove the app from your device and reinstall it. Remember that deleting an app also deletes its data.
Wait for the app to download, then open it from the Home screen.
If the download stops, you can resume it.
Contact the developer
If you see the issue again, contact the developer of the app for help:
Find the app in the App Store.
Tap the app and tap Reviews.
Tap App Support.

so you know that the game is running on other devices so it has to be a problem with the phone,, have you check your apps cache.. sometimes apps wont load/run if there is to little space on the memory/ram part of your phone.. try clearing data/cache on the app (NOT UNINSTALL) this should work.. with apps you dont use but are part of the phone do whats called a roll back by uninstalling updates.. then go into your settings look for update permissions and select ask before update . This way you keep your internal memory space free. and your system working faster
What kind of phone do you have?
Assuming we're talking smartphones,
for iPhones with iOS, you get App updates through the App Store. Open the App Store and there should be an "Updates" tab.
For Android, they would come through the Google Play store, or the system itself. (With the Galaxy S4, there is a Samsung Hub for some apps and software that updates through there as well.)
Non smart phones update automatically, or can be updated through the Settings - Device options, which vary drastically by phone.
This may be an issue with the app itself or a compatibility issue with your phone model.
Check if there is an update available for app: Viber; by going to the Google Play Store and selecting the app from the list of installed apps. If there is an app update, it will be listed.
If the above doesnt work, check if there are any software updates for your phone software by going to settings --> Software info --> check for updates
If the above two do not work, clear all data for the app from settings --> Apps --> Viber --> Clear data
Download clean master from play store, run it to clean all the junk from your phone memory and cache files, this should help, also keep whatsapp updated.
