How to Reset your Samsung Phone If You Can't Access It
Turn Off Your Phone
Now press and hold together: Volume Up + Home + Power button, until you see Samsung logo.
After a bit you will have access to the phone's boot menu. Using the volume up/down buttons to navigate, and the power button to make selections, find and select the Wipe Data/Factory Reset option.
Scroll down to Yes, delete all user data, and press the power button once again. You will notice script scrolling along the bottom of the screen, which will end in Data Wipe Complete.
Once the operation is complete, press the power button once more to reset the device.
1.Turn off your phone
2.Press together volume up + volume down + home button + power button until Samsung logo appears on screen
3.Browse with volume buttons and select "wipe data/factory reset" then press home button
4.Choose "yes" with volume buttons and press home button to select it
5.Wait until format is complete
6.Select "reboot system now"

Turn the phone off
Press and hold Volume UP and Home (center) button
Press Power until the phone vibrates
Wait until you see the Android logo then release all the buttons
Select Wipe data/Factory reset with VOLUME DOWN, press Power (right hand-side)
Select YES...delete all user data with VOLUME DOWN and then Press Power
After format, press Power again to reboot the phone (select reboot system now)
It depends on your model, Samsung phone hard reset are different for different model. If your samsung model have a hardware home button, press the volume + home button and power button until you see the samsung logo, let go. You should be in the recovery mode.
If it's a model with capacitive touch, press and hold (with the phone off all the time) volume +, volume - and power until you feel a small vibration, let go of the power button, but keep holding the volume rocker until you get to recovery.
Once in recovery, scroll down to "Wipe data/cache" or something along those lines. Highlight it and press the power button, go back one step highlight Reboot Phone, and you should be good to go.

In order ot hard reset your Samsung Galaxy Tab you need to perform the following steps:
Be aware that this will erase everything!
1. Turn the device off
2. while the device is turned off press and hold the volume up button and the power button
3. release the power button when you see the samsung logo appear. (Do not let go of the volume up button until you see the recovery screen)
4. use the volume button to naviagte through the menu until you find an option titled Wipe data / Factory reset
5. once you fin that option, highlight it and press the home button.
6. press the volume up button to continue
Your galaxy tab will now start the hard reset process, do not touch anything until it is complete
