I have a roshan TV showing black screen

If your Roshan TV is showing a black screen, there could be a few different causes for this issue. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem:

Check the connections: Make sure that all the cables are connected securely and properly to the TV and the devices connected to it. Check the power cable as well and ensure that it's plugged in and switched on.
Check the input source: Ensure that you have selected the correct input source on your TV for the device you are trying to watch. Use your TV remote to change the input source and see if that resolves the issue.
Check for updates: Check for any available updates for your TV firmware or software. This can usually be done in the TV settings menu.
Restart the TV: Turn off the TV and unplug it from the power source for a few minutes. Then, plug it back in and turn it on again.
Contact customer support: If none of the above steps work, contact the customer support for Roshan TV or consult with a professional technician to diagnose and repair the issue.

Help me see my Netflix on my TV

Acquire a streaming internet player at a retail store or online. Streaming internet players allow you to stream movies and tv shows from Netflix, videos from YouTube, and music from Pandora, among other options. Different streaming internet players include, but are not limited to:
  • Apple TV
  • Roku
  • Boxee
  • Sony Streaming Player
Plug the player into its outlet. Power it up in order to hook it up with your TV and get it connected to the internet.
Connect your streaming internet player to your TV. There are several different ways to do this:
  • Connect with an HDMI cable. If you have an HDTV, you'll probably want to make use of that sparkling resolution by purchasing an HDMI cable and hooking the cable both into your player and the back of the TV.
  • Connect with a standard A/V cable if you don't have HDTV. Match up the yellow/red/white ports on the back of your TV to the video and audio cables.
Connect to your network. After turning on your streaming internet player, you'll want to connect to the internet. Most streaming internet players nowadays come with wireless internet setup, meaning you don't have to go through the hassle of plugging cables in everywhere in order to get a signal. Simply type in your internet name and password into the guided setup when you turn on your device.
  • If you don't have wireless internet capabilities, you're going to most likely connect one end of an Ethernet cable into the back of your streaming internet player, and the other end into an open Ethernet port on your router.
Finalize your setup. You've got power to your streaming player, you've got it connected to your TV, and you have internet. Consider a few other options before you start watching Netflix from the pleasure of your couch instead of your PC screen.
  • Download any of the latest software offered by the streaming internet player. This could help expedite things and offer cool perks.
  • Choose your video output resolution. Especially helpful for HD nuts.
  • Consider linking the player to your online account, if possible. Some players will use social media to share what you watch with your friends, as well as offering suggestions based on what your friends are watching.

Obtain your owner's manual and follow the connection steps exactly. It's possible you have made the connection at the Internet point.

The Xfinity Cable Service is also an Internet service provider then you need a cable modem with a built-in wireless router.

I have a rca modem. And I pay my internet company on time. But on the modem the cable link blinks slowly and and I am not getting no internet connection. So I want to know if the cables are plugged wrong...

Of course the first thing to do is to check the connection of your cable all the way to the wall. Did you disconnect anything?
It is usually best to unplug the cable modem from anything connected to it and to check after you disconnect if from the power outlet and the cable. First connect the cable back and then the power and check what is going on there. If you are connected to Cable TV then of course check your TV set if you are getting anything.

you can try to log into the modem itself: For a RCA cable modem, you may need to navigate to http://192.168.100.1/moreInfo.html to view the diagnostics.

2 Connect the ethernet cable to the system. Select "Network settings" under "settings" in the "home" menu and then press X . When a message stating that the internet connection will be terminated, select 'yes' and press X. On the screen displayed select 'Easy and press the right direction arrow. Check the settings and then press X button.
Similarly a wireless connection can be set up but it will vary with the equipment being used. In this case the ethernet cable is not connected. You have to select 'wireless' after the "Easy" selection step. Then select 'Scan' and then select the access point you want to use. Then select the security settings as necessary. Enter the Encryption key. A list of settings will be displayed. Check the settings and press X. Once this is done PS3 system will automatically connect to the Internet when the system is turned on. Won't connect to the internet

Here are a couple of things to try. You're probably already done this a million times but I'll walk through the connections just in case. Hopefully these instructions will work with the Linksys router model you have.

Power the router up by plugging in the power supply. Plug in an Ethernet cable from your broadband modem to the port in the back of the router labeled "internet". Plug in another Ethernet cable from your computer to any one of the four numbered ports in the back of the router. Hit the reset button on the back of the router. You may need a sharp object like a pen or pencil to poke it. Reboot your computer. Open a web browser, such as Internet Explorer, and type in http:192.168.1.1. A window should pop up asking for a user name and a password. Don't enter a user name and type admin for the password. Hit ok. The router setup screen should come up. Click on the administration tab. Then click on the factory defaults sub-tab. The sub-tabs are in blue just below the normal tabs. Hit yes to restore factory defaults. Now see if you can connect to the internet through the router.
