I have a zinwell converter box but no remote so volume is stuck low. I have a one for all universal remote how do I program it to my converter box. Like would it be satellite aux or cable

OK, I have a Zinwell box that was working perfectly until a friend tried it in his new apartment. Two problems (a) he misplaced the remote over there, and (b) he reprogrammed it so it now only gets four crappy channels instead of the previous fifteen.
Will try to get him to search for remote. Meanwhile ar 4am:
I have two universal remotes, old Magnavox and newish Ptimesat. Primesat looks good but doesn't seem to have search fubction -- does it> Tried to get Zinwell to work on Aux wth code 591 but no luck, Search on Magnavox got one partial result but failed again. Help?
(b) Is there any way to reprogram the box manually, without a remote? I want my channels!

Shouldn't the converter box volume be at atleast 75% full volume for a standard volume level?

Hooked up our analog TV set with Magnavox TB100MW9, the video is not stable. Any advice on WHY?
