Unlock code parent

for ps3 the default is 0000 if you go into settings and restore the ps3 to default it will reset it to that

if its PS2 go the link below:
http://www.wikihow.com/Reset-the-Password-on-Your-PS2

for the wii go here:
http://en-americas-support.nintendo.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/2982/~/forgot-parental-controls-pin

and for xbox do this:

If you've forgotten your pass code, you can reset it by answering the pass code question you set up parental controls. Here's how:
1. On your console, go to Settings, and then select Family.
2. Select a content control setting to change.
3. When you're prompted, enter any pass code (even though it's incorrect).
4. When you're notified that your pass code is incorrect, select Reset Pass Code.
5. When your pass code question appears, use your controller or chat pad to enter the answer, then select Done.

If you can't remember the answer to your pass code question, you'll have to contact Xbox Support for further help.

...............hope that helps

MAnual/Reset Parental Control Code

According to the manual, "If you forget the password, you can erase your current password by pressing the number 8 button on the remote four times, thn press the enter button to confirm the setting. PASSWORD: 8888"

A picture of an unlocked lock indicates that Parent Lock is NOT active.

Parent Lock Levels:
1: Kid Safe 5 : PG_R
2: G 6 : R
3: PG 7 : NC _17
4: PG_13 8: Adult

It also says that it takes 3-5 seconds to reset the unit to the factory default. I hope this helps! Karen

Parental control code

ok first go to the DVD setup which should be located near the bottom of the remote is says SETUP. Then it will give you a list of options go to the one with the parental code one. Then you should try and change the password. My tvs old password was 8888 but I am not sure if it is the same on all tv's. If it is right then you should be able to change the password to whatever you want! I hope this helps anyone who sees this response!

I cant get the parental lock off of my dvd and it wont play any movies at all

Try this. The mintek dvd 2580 password " screen " looks like it wants four numbers, it actually wants five numbers. And they are 88888 as set by the manufacturer. Unless someone has changed it from its original password. If you ever need the code for the remote it should be 0717 . I hope this helps.

Forgotten pass code for parental lock

Try 3308. That is what is shown in the oweners manual I received with my Qwestar 360MVP. If that doesn't work, go to DEFAULTS and select RESET. This should give you the factory initial settings then try 3308 again. Good luck!!
