Grandchildren put in video now cant get signal back on tv

I phoned sony when I had an issue with my bravia and they walked me through fixing it. I got the number from google.

is your tv set to video in, they most likely switched the channel so you are not getting signal.

It doesn't sound like it would be very stable. Why don't you just call Sony and ask for a replacement part? They will usually quick ship you a part if it was not included at the time of purchase.

Try hooking up your sony handycam to a different monitor or tv to make sure it is putting out a good video signal using an S-Video cable. Then once you know your cords are good and you have a good video signal, hook it back up to the RCA LCD unit. If it is still not working make sure that the RCA LCD is set to receive the Hi8 signal via the S-Video cable. There may be a switch or menu setting on your RCA LCD to accept the Hi8 signal or also refered to as S- Video.

This is button config for master reset without picture:
Home Left button x 3 Down button x 7 ok (centre button) ok Down button x 6 ok Left button x 1 ok ok wait a couple of seconds for settings to complete, when you switch back on you should have a picture and be back at language set up screen.

Try turning the console off, then holding down the on button until you hear a series of beeps, each beep representing the system switching video modes. (try testing another output source to make sure your tv is working correctly) if your tv accepts other video signals then you should find the correct one from your ps3 with this method. you may have to get it to work on AV or S-Video to make the appropriate changes to the HDMI and set the proper resolution for your television first.

ok what channel is it on if it is an old tv put it on channel 3 if not try pressing input on your remote it will say "video 1" "video 2" then "front' then normal tv it should work on one of the settings

If you are connecting the dish receiver to the standard antenna jack (F connector) on the TV, then the TV must be in TV mode and tuned to channel 3. If you accidently change to another channel then you will get the "no signal" message. If this is the case then simply put the TV back on channel 3. If you are using the RCA jacks (red, white yellow) to connect the dish receiver to the TV, then the TV must be in the VIDEO mode to work properly. If you accidently put the TV in the TV mode, you will get the "no signal" message. If this is the case then simply press the TV/VIDEO button.
