is there a reset button or a fuse in this oven?
Thanks in advance
Not getting any "hits" here (USA) but... The principle remains EXACTLY the same... AFTER checking for simple procedural troubles ...(owners manual)... We move on to serious trouble: Yes you MOST LIKELY have a FUSE...
but must don't just OPERATE.. for no reason:
Certainly not you... but some folks let their kinder warm pats of butter...
If the MICRO-WAVE-ENERGY has nothing to absorb it's POWER it can damage the MAGNETRON...
Micro-wave can be dangerous... so if you are not COMPLETELY COMFORTABLE you can take pictures and get everything EXACTLY back together... don't bother purchasing the MAGNETRON & fixing it yourself..
But if you are ... it ain't tuff.

Wait-wait.. Grill too... Different story If you are keying in times/temps etc... ok
It is your power control board (or fuse).
Take pictures so you know here EVERY WIRE GOES... then see if you can pull it out enough... to look at the boardWait-wait.. Grill too... Different story

Remember that some parts of a 240 volt stove require two live wires and most of the controls or elements being only 120 volts require just one live wire. Hence the double pole 40 amp breaker must have tripped but does not appear tripped. Just turn it off and back on to reset
This tutorial will show you how to check your Smeg element and how to replace your Smeg cooker element.
Here are the 3 main faults to look for in your oven or cooker that is not heating
Your oven will not work until the clock/timer has been re-set after replacing an oven element or tripping the electrical supply. Consult your Smeg manual.
If your Oven is not getting hot or heating up it could be a faulty element, if the fan in the oven is running and the thermostat light is on, this will lead us to believe that the element has gone faulty. With grills the thermostat light should come on there should be heat, if not then this could be the grill element or the thermostat.
When you turn the oven on, the household electrical supply trips on the Rcd (this is the earth trip in the fuse board sometimes called the breaker tripping) your fan oven element has gone to earth and needs replacing.

circular element round the fan has blown. take back panel off inside oven and you will see element. to replace, take rear outside panel off and usually element is held in by 2 7mm nuts on posts sticking out of the element base plate. easy job. disconnect of course
If everything on your B1691N0GB oven seems to be working, i.e. all the lights are on and fan comes on in fan oven setting, but there is no heat from fan oven, conventional oven or grill, try turning your oven off at the mains, then turn on again. If the temperature display then shows 444, your oven is locked. To unlock, make sure the central control knob is in the "out" position, then press the fan oven and light buttons simultaneously for 10 seconds or so, until 333 appears on the display. Your oven is now unlocked.
