SOURCE: Baumatic B180ss Electric oven problem

It sounds like the overheat safety stat is cutting the oven off.
This is prevent the oven overheating and catching fire.
They can go faulty and operate prematurely, causing the prob u are experiencing.
If it is built in , make sure it has adequate ventilation, as this can cause the prob.
Also check to see if it has an external cooling fan fitted, these can fail, and again cause the prob.
They are usually fitted under the top cover of the oven, and designed to keep the oven cool.
It should come on shortly after turning the oven on
These things are the most likely cause of the prob.
plz rate my solution.
Thanks.

You could send that board to Bruce at fixyourboard.com and he would fix it for around 135 bucks and warranty it. I have a guide to late model oven repair manuals and more here

My Hotpoint oven model no. SA2 540 H IX is showing error code F53. What does this mean and is this fix DIYable?

How to stop lights flashing on the control panel

Unplug the oven from the outlet or turn off the circuit breaker that controls power to the oven.

Wait about 5 or 10 minutes- so that any remaining stored capacitor voltage has been fully drained.

Restore power to the oven- if you get an alpha-numeric error/fault code or the lights on the oven's control panel blink, refer to your owner's manual for troubleshooting and/or interpreting the fault codes or flashing lights; or you can try contacting your local appliance repair shop for assistance in interpreting the fault errors or to schedule a repair service call.

Sometimes you can Google the error codes for info, help, and repair solutions...

You can also try the oven manufacturer's website to resolve your problem- they may have a troubleshooting/solutions link or phone number to get live tech support...hope this helps.

Ariston wall oven error code f53 f03

I managed to resolve that problem. When you have BOTH F53 and F03 error codes, it's not a sensor fault (although F03 is the big cavity sensor and F53 is the top one)... it's a faulty capacitor trouble. On the main board there are 4 electrolytic capacitors, just replace all of them and you're ok again. It's quite simple and very cheap. :-)

Oven door wont open code f53 thermador how can i get it open food is in it

Hello,.

Welcome to FixYa.

The "F53" error code on your Thermador "C" series ovens indicates a upper door lock fault, makes sense since that is the issue you described.

Whether there is actually a fault with the lock remains to be seen. Here is what I`d suggest you try...

Locate the service panel for your oven ( should be an isolated 40amp breaker ) and turn it off for a few moments and turn it back on.

This will initiate the start-up sequence which activates and checks the controls and lock assembly, hopefully resetting it to the "open" position and subsequently eliminating the error code.

Let me know how that works or if you require further assistance.

Thanks for choosing FixYa and good luck.

Regards,

Macmarkus :)

Control panel

generaly the only way to reset is by turning off the power to the oven at switch board for at least 30s. if this does not work check the back of the digital panal for any burn marks as it may have shorted when it fell back, also check any wiring connectors have not come off
