SOURCE: Early Warning EW-3400 Radar Detector Digital Compass Calibration??

I looked at another simuilar Detector and read on Digital Compass Calibration and through the process of elimination found that if I Press CITY for 3 sec.'s COMPASS CALIBRATION showed on the display. Then it says TURN YOUR VEHICLE SLOWLY 2 TIMES to CALIBRATE. Then press the CITY button to complete the calibration. Done. It worked my Early Warning EW-3400 Radar Detector's Compass is now Calibrated.

Hello.
The replacement Cord is a 12v, 200 Milliamp Type. Use a higher rated Amperage cord to be safe. The instruction Manual is available from the link below http://www.ziddu.com/download/15859094/1510-1530man.pdf.html

Earlywarning ew3010de voice is messed up can't understand what the thing is saying
The speaker's voice coil likely has overheated, and now it is rubbing on the insides of the speaker magnet. This causes very garbled sound. All Sunkyong Early Warning radar detectors provide horrible radar detection performance. You should seriously consider getting a much better radar detector.

I suggest that you don't use this product. US designed and manufactured RD models have well over 10 times the detection range, and the unbelievably cheap Early Warning RD will merely give you a false sense of security -- followed soon after by a speeding ticket if you frequently speed. Jump over to radardetector.net for some real advise about radar detectors.

Earlywarning EW3001 won't give me a warning
This is because the Sunkyong Early Warning radar detector is an absolute piece of junk in terms of actual radar detection performance. It performance is dismal compared to any product manufactured by Bel, Escort, Whistler's higher end products, or Valentine Research. Let me guess -- you bought your Early Warning RD off of eBay.
