Hi, I have several jams in a ir canon 5000, in the vertical path with delay in the PS24 sensor. I exchanged that sensor getting the same result. Someone have had the same problem?

Hi, try to print the error/jam report for service mode, in that report you can see which sensor is detecting the jam

hi. is easier to us if you ask in English so we can help you out. you can check the flag sensors in the vertical path of paper .

Clean the vertical path rollers .they are located in the right door. check for obstructions. inspect your right door for broken parts and missing pressure springs that keep pressure on those vertical rollers. Make sure the right door is shut firmly.

two possibilities...

feed rollers are worn out... replace them...
or paper wadded up in lcf
or another possibility... bad sensor or dirty sensor...

there could be a small piece of paper stuck wehre the vertical path sensor is. it is showing a stationary jam at the vertical path 3 paper sensor. there is more than likely a sensor that has become wedged or has a piece of paper holding the sensor closed instead of open in or around drawer #3

Description
Since a type of paper that can easily generate lint was used, the paper lint adhered to the surface of the vertical path roller and decreased the paper feed performance of the roller, causing the jam code "0105."
Depending on paper sources, the following jams occur.
- Cassette 1: 0105 (registration sensor PS9 delay)/0201(cassette1 retry sensor PS10 stationary)
- Cassette 2: 0101 (cassette 1 retry sensor PS10 delay)/0202(cassette 2 retry sensor PS11 (cassette pedestal) delay)
- Cassette 3: 0102 (cassette 2 retry sensor PS11 delay)/0203 (cassette 3 retry sensor PS1 (cassette pedestal) delay)
- Cassette 4: 0103 (cassette 3 retry sensor PS1 (cassette pedestal) delay)/0204 (cassette 4 retry sensor PS2 (cassette pedestal) delay jam)
To prevent this, a vertical path roller to which paper is hart do adhere was used for the following machines (the color of the roller was changed from black to gray).
