Have to set up phone on sim transfer to htc phone

I believe you can copy the contacts to the sim card. Once you copy the contacts to your sim (that is if you can) insert the sim to the new android phone and copy the contacts from sim to the phone via Settings manu > Contacts > Copy sim to phone.

The only way you can transfer contact from HTC phone to simcard is
you have to go into address book. you have to click on each contact. and then click on menu(since i have the different htc phone than yours i said menu but sometimes it may say option)
then look for option that said save into simcard.
do this for all your contacts.
there is no easy option to transfer all contact at one time.

Try following this steps, leads you to know how to sync HTC with Mac?

1. Set HTC
Press HOME > MENV, and choose Setting > Applications > Development.
In the Interface of "Development", you must make sure all check boxes are selected include "USB debugging", "Stay awake", "Allow mock location".

2. Connect HTC to Mac

use the htc droid pc suite to back up your contact from the old sim. then insert the new sim into the phone and restore contacts to the new sim

yes it is possible u can use sms back up softwere to take a back up and the same can be used in ur viva
