Possibly it has a faulty ignition module or on/off switch.

Check the switch and any wires and earths, then check the ignition module with an OHMS meter if you have one

Please clarify the make and model also.

My Weed Eater FL1500LE gas leaf blower will not run beyond the full choke setting. If I move the lever to half choke the engine will stop. Or if I move the throttle from full throttle to a lower speed...

This is a tell tale sign of a lean fuel mixture. By choking the unit you are manually creating a richer fuel mixture. I would purchase a compression tester from a local parts store and check compression. If that's ok, I'm willing to bet the problem is still carb related. Two stroke carbs are tricky to clean because of high/low ports that are one way and sometimes impossible to clean. Did you remove high and low needles when cleaning carb? Another trick is to mix seafoam with your gas, then mix two cycle oil to proper ratio. Use 2 ounces seafoam to one gallon of gas, then mix two cycle oil to proper mix. Hope this helps! Good luck and happy wrenching!

Clean or change air filter. Clean, gap or change spark plug. Empty gas tank add fresh gas with Stabil. When spark plug is removed pull rope several times to blow out cylinder. Spray starter fluid in spark plug hole before replacing spark plug. Clean outside of carb so choke works freely. Spray starter fluid into carb breather hole with air filter removed and try to start. if running replace air filter and cover. If no start disassemble carb and clean. If no start replace carb.

I have a sears 2 cycle mini tiller that worked great for the first hour but now won't start.

Do not use pre-mix fuel. Clean carburetor. Check age of gas. Cannot be more than 30 days old.
Make sure to use fresh gas w/synthetic 2-cycle oil @ 40:1 ratio (1 gal.) Gas to 3.2 oz. Oil) .Do not use old or stale oil/gas mixture. Always use the proper oil/gas mix. If you do not, your engine will suffer rapid, permanent damage.

Husqvarna_blower 125b have adjusted carb but after ten mins shuts off. After a few mins will start up again.

The carburetor or fuel line are the usual culprits. This can be fixed by pouring the fuel into a container to inspect for debris. The fuel line should be drained and blown to cleared completely. Fuel left in an engine can sour and gunk up the inner working. Make sure your using a stabilizer in the mix before storing during winter. Happy Gardening,Coach Dave

Blower/vac 24cc,185 mph, 385 cfm won't start. any suggestiong what i need to do.

many people are noticing problems with small engines now days, due to ethanol in modern gas, check the spark plug and clean or replace it, and be sure you have fresh fuel in the tank, stale gas will give you problems every time.your carb may be full of gelled gas and oil mix so a few shots of carb cleaner may help, And sears actually has a new product out that is an ethanol free 40:1 pre-mix with fuel stabilizer mixed in, it takes any guess work from mixing it yourself

Husqvarna 51 died and wont restart

hi
if you have a good compression,a strong enough blue spark and carburetion for the fuel air mixture try priming the engine(put small amount of gas in the spark plug hole)then start the engine. If the engine runs only the gas you put inside the cilinder there is a carburetion problem to find and fix.
let me know regards savumihai71

Husqvarna 400 e series- I mixed the fuel 40-1 instead of 50-1

Hi
If you have good compression and spark at the spark plug try priming the engine(put some fuel mixture in the spark plug hole),set the carb adjustment(highh speed H=3/4 turn and lowspeed L=1 1/4 turn, turn the scews clockwise until the end and then set them.Try to start the engine. If it runs only the gas you puted inside the cilinder and then stops you have a fuel delivery problem to find and fix.First disassembly ,check and clean the carb. Then the fuel filter and the hoses.Let me know. best regards savumihai71

Wont start

Start with emptying the gas tank totally. Refill with fresh gas/oil mix. Todays gasoline ain't that great.
Also after putting in fresh gas and priming if it doesn't fire at all pull the spark plug and if it is dry, pour a about a tbsp. of mix gas in the plug hole. put the spark plug back in and see if it will fire.
