How do i fix the error code oooo on intel 945gcpe motherboard

If your hard drive is clicking chances are that it is dead. This is not something you can fix. The motherboard will be able to support a 1 TB hard drive and can support up to 2 gb of ram. You can not put a graphics card in there since it only supports PCI. The only graphics card that can go in that slot are no better than the integrated graphics you have right now. I would suggest buy a whole new computer as what you currently have is outdated. Feel free to respond with what you are looking for in a computer and I would be more than happy to help you look for a new computer.

Hi, Open the case of your system.if your graphics card is in agp type, locate it as shown at left (color brown). If it is a pci, installed into the pci slot as shown.
AGP Slot PCI Slot

Use the antistatic wrist strap to avoid electrostatic discharge (ESD). Or you can ground yourself into the case.

Beep codes are usualy heard when there is a problem with either your display card or your RAM.

Your problem could possibly be a faulty CPU.
Does your CPU work in another board, or can you try another CPU in your board?

However there is no model called M5V2 in the 945 CG series
The list of motherboards in 945CG series are

Please verify your model number and click on the desktop boards link and highlight the 945 series to get the list of the boards in the series.
