SOURCE: Yamaha FG110's year (acoustic guitar) and BB450's year (bass)

According to yamaha's site, that's an invalid serial number??!!??

I would guess that might be the date code.

Other sites report 5, 6 and 8 "digit only" serial numbers.

Nothing for 7 numbers.

If i had to guess, the earliest...1971
Hope this helps.

These often use a special Allen wrench. It is easy to damage the neck.

I would recommend taking it to a guitar place/shop and have them evaluate that the neck is the problem. There are other problems such as the bridge that can cause this.

Where can I find the serial number on a Japanese made bass guitar it is a fender jazz bass 4 string and how much did this bass guitar cost brand new or how much are these bass guitars cost new today?

Either on the head stock or on the neck, between the neck and body. Once you have the serial number, you will be able to find out where and roughly when it was made. The price is liable to be anything.

Epihone Gibson special serial number 16020609 any possibility of deciphering origins and year?

hi!
Thre serial doesn't seem to fit any of the common schemes. Please double check that it's correct, and see if there is a letter associated with it as well.
That said, the bolt on neck Epiphone Special instruments are made in China.

Fender strat serial number DZ0067060

Ok, this is going to be a lot of information. Let's start with the "D"; this usually means that the instrument is a "Deluxe" version. This would suggest it is an American Deluxe Strat. But Fender, themselves even admit that this letter ended up on some American Standard instruments. The second letter is EXTREMELY complicated and hard to explain. From the 1970's through recent years, Fender has used an "S", "E", "N", "Z", or "X". Here is the complicated part; "S"eventies, "E"ighties, "N"ineties, "Z" = 2000-2009, "X" = 2010 - present ;). The zero following the number suggests that this is a 2000 American Deluxe Strat. Keeping all of this in mind, there is another slim possibility. Fender has always used bolt on necks. Leo Fender decided to do this for a couple of reasons. They were cheaper to assemble, easier to work on, and easy to replace. Fender produces many replacement necks and they all have serial numbers on them. The previous owner could have potentially replaced the neck on a standard or even a made in Mexico Strat with an American Deluxe neck with a different serial number. I know this is a lot of info and the serial numbers do go more in Depth than just this, but more than likely you have an American Deluxe Strat. Good find!

Dean razorback DB problem

If the neck of the guitar is a bolt on neck (their will be a plate holding the neck onto the body of the guitar with several screws) then this is typical. Some strings will give off small vibrations. Nothing is wrong with the guitar, usually with a string change or with time the tone will fade as the strings change to the shape.

Hope this helps,
