When you plug the tv in the green light come on without turning it on and no picture

The HDMI and the cables and the inputs can interrupt the video signal output. While the audio still works.The input sockets and the cables are bad on your TV.

you have to put the television on and off (with the TV remote) . Have the same problem.

There should be some fault with its main power supply regulator board circuit. Contact any service technician.

unplug the tv, wait 5 mins plug it back in, and without using the remote, press the tv on button. see if its ok.

Picture goes to high green with retrace lines that shows picture tube is defective and requires replacement.
Usually in above symptom, TV goes to standby mode and standby light blinks when green raster problem occurred.
New TV is better option because picture tube of KV-34XBR960 would not be available any more.

Did you try unpluge from the wall, and repluging back after 10 min.
Also run the self diagnosis by pushing the menu and device buttons on the front and let me know the code?

try refunding it.. becasue there is deifinatly something rong with your TV

TV STARTS UP AND GOES BLANK SOUND NO PICTURE

I HAD A REPAIR GUY OUT TODAY AND HE SAID IT WAS THE POWER MODULE. I HAVE NOT GOT A PRICE FOR THE PART OR REPAIR YET.

Check lamp. If not that your light engine may going out. You might be able to get a rebuilt one from www.vancebaldwin.com
