Going Price

Even though the full name stamped on the pump barrel jokingly referes to our first president, the name "franklin" doesn't have any thing to do with either the company's founder, nor any other direct connection...I believe that it was more of a company ruse to associate the Company's name with an American PATRIOTIC figure. Benjamin is actually the founders last name...simply put, that is nothing more than my personal opinion...bottom line; the name franklin refers to absolutely nothing, maybe the name of Benjamin Franklin wasn't trade marked at the time it was first used!!

I need to find the pump seal for a Benjamin franklin model 312 air rifle. Where can I find one.

If you have the old one , take it with you to a hardware store or auto parts store. They have all types of o rings and you can match it up.

I'm Aijaz Talpur from pakistan. I have two Benjamen Franklin 342 air guns. In both I found their barrel are slightly bent upward, so they always shoot above the target. I checked the barrel with a steel...

Dear Aijaz Talpur,
I am Salman. Nice to see your question about bending barrels of Benjamin Franklin 342s airguns. I suggest you take the barrels to some Lathe Machine Expert (Kharadia). He will easily straighten them. I live in Nawabshah Sindh and have used a huge number of Diana, BSA, Crosman Benjamin and some pakistani airguns.

Please feel free to contact on 03018564852 for further help.

Regards
SALMAN

I have a crOsman model 1077 that wont take a CO2

Probably not by you, but by the shop, maybe. It sounds like the needle was bent and lost it's seal. Crosman has repair stations, if they don't fix it, they will send you another one. I have sent them guns before and got brand new ones instead of the old piece of junk I sent them for repair. They also bought out Sheridan/ Benjamin line of Air rifles, And they repair all those too. I sent them an ancient rifle, an old Benjamin Franklin,17 cal. bare bones stock and barrel only, they sent me back a total refurbish, welded, painted, new .22 cal.barrel, all new guts, unbelievable. I think the total cost was $35 on that one. They wanted $15 for paint, I told them I didn't want it painted, they said, OK, Get a hold of them. Hope this helps.

397 Ben/Sher .177 air rifle - installing repair kit problem

Crosman bought out benjamin / sheridan, and they still repair just all their pump guns. The ring sounds like a piece of a pellet, the barrels are silver soldered to the bottom tube, Not lead. Also, the repair kit should not have too many parts, you can only go so far with those guns before needing special equipment to get them apart. Get a hold of Crosman and tell them that benjamin sent you a bad part. They should fix it.
I had an old Benjamin Franklin in .22 cal, it was just a brass tube with a stock and barrel. I sent it to them, to be repaired, and I wanted the .22, because I had the 5mm and the 177. So I got it back, cost $29, New barrel, in .177, soldered on, new guts, new paint, trigger, bolt, the works.. Brand new gun. I told them I wanted the brass and I wanted the .22, They said oops, sorry. I didn't complain, nice old gun. Hope this helps.

Model 342 Benjamin Franklin 22 caliber air gun

I recently purchased a rebuild kit for my 342. I bought the kit from airgundepot. It was the kit for the
392 and I modified it a little. On the new plunger, you have to drill a hole in the center of it the same
size as the pin's smallest diameter. You can use all of the parts in this kit except for the small o-ring. I think it sold for about 39 dollars or so. My rifle was manufactured in 1972 and it fires like new.
