Make sure finder is associated with all spaces, or just turn mission control off all together.

SOURCE: open folders disappear off side or topof desktop

Possible solution: Click "System Preferences" in the Apple menu in the upper left-hand corner of the screen. Click "Expose' & Spaces". It was called "Dashboard and Expose'" in previous OS versions.

Look at the Expose' section. If you see anything about a mouse button next to "Show Desktop", click on it and change it to "-" (dash). I'm guessing this feature is mapped to one of your mouse buttons, such as the middle button. Clear that, and you won't be triggering it accidentally.

Hope that makes sense.

Good luck!

SOURCE: My Document Folder has disappear from Dock.....I

You should be able to drag the Documents folder from a Finder window to the Dock.

Open a Finder window (click on the desktop, then hit Command-N). On the left side, go to the Places item (click the arrow on the left to expand it). Select your user name. In the window, you should see all the folders in your home folder. Click and drag the Documents folder down to the right side of the Dock -- to the right of the dotted line, before the Trash.

If you hover over the other folder icons, you should be able to move the pointer in between them. Once they split apart to open up a space for you, release the mouse button.

You cannot drag the little icon on the left of the Finder window (under your user ID) to the Dock. It has to be the regular folder icon on the right side of the Finder window.

How to change folder labels on a Mac.

Some people like to be organized. Others don't. If you like to be organized and like to keep files such pictures, videos, and audio/music in folders, an apple (mac) is the computer for you. To wasially organize folders, simply make your folders. Add files, pictures, etc. Then Decide what the folder(s) is going to be. (The Topic. Pictures, Home Videos, Music, Back-ups, etc.) On the desktop, click once. Now at the top left it should say "Finder" next the the apple logo. Click the "Finder" button. Now a drop down menu should appear. In the list of the drop down menu, scroll down till you see "Preferences." Click on the "Preferences" button that s hilighted. Now a box should appear. If not, repeat these steps over again. (It usually shows up the first time.) Now, on the new box, at the top there should be 4 choices. You want the one that says "Labels." Click that. Then you should have different colors, (Red under red oval, Blue under blue oval etc.) Change the Color name to what you want. (Music, Movies etc.) This is great for organizing. no once you are done, go into that folder you created earlier. Hilight that folder once. Right click. under "Labels" select the color you created that goes with that topic. it's that simple!

How do I transfer my pictures from my phone to pc?

When your phone is plugged in, navigate to it on your computer. On windows, this can be done by going to "My Computer", (or on Windows 8 and above, by clicking on the folder icon on the start bar, then clicking on "This PC" in the left hadnd side if you're not already in that window,) and finding the drive that doesn't have a letter.

On Mac, when you plug your phone in, it should appear as a folder icon on your desktop. Open it from there. The rest is the same.

You should see a folder labeled "CAMERA." Inside that folder, there will be several more. Open the one labeled" DCIM." Now you should see all your pictures. To save them to your computer, press ctrl+a (on mac, CMD+a) to select all of them, then drag them to the desired save destination. After a few minutes (or more, depending on how many pictures you're saving) you should see two copies of the pictures; one in the phone folder, and one in the folder you just dragged them to. When you unplug your phone, the first window should disappear or change, and you should be able to access all of the pictures you just saved in the new folder.

Problems with avery mac label expert

To reset the size in your printer to the correct A4 size, do this:
Go to your Applications folder on your hard drive.
In it, you will find a Utilities folder.
Inside that folder, you will find a folder called "Printer Setup Utility."
Inside THAT folder, you will find a list of printers you have connected to your Mac.
Click on one. You will see, at the top of your screen, a set of menus. Click on the "Printer Setup Utility" menu at the far left.
Choose "Preferences" from the drop-down list.
You will see a dialog box with three options: Printing, Sharing, and Faxing. If Printing is not automatically displayed, click on the Printing tab.
At the bottom of the Printing dialog box, you will see another pull-down menu: "Default paper size in page setup"
Choose A4, or whatever size you wish.
Close up all the boxes, and print your labels to your heart's content.
When you're done with your labels, don't forget to repeat this process to switch your printer back to your ordinary size paper.
Hope this helps.
