If it's not charging most likely it hasa bad battery to see go to the store where you boughtthe dewalt and have them try putting it on a charger and see if it will take a charge, also the tongs inside the charger could be bent and causing it not to make contact and will need to be bent out a little to get it to work.

9-14-14 How do I increase dishwasher pump drain pressure?

Wow, you've really tried hard to fix this problem (and describe what you've tried to do to fix it). But for me to be able to fix it, I need to know the model number, and approximately how old the dishwasher is. Does this model use a separate drain motor, or does it have just one motor and a diverter powered by a solenoid to drain the water?

Why am I getting an error code iCO on my frigidaire gallery dishwasher?

I just addressed a iCO error code on my 2 week old Frigidaire Gallery DW. I reset the circuit breaker as recommended online and it worked fine for another few days and then came back. Customer service cannot tell me what the error code means. They WILL NOT replace the DW, rather want to schedule a service appointment. I have no desire to repair a new DW so I am receiving a refund from the retailer I purchased from. On to the next brand!

Hi, we have a Bosch SHU53EO6UC/14 dishwasher. It is getting stuck in wash and isn't advancing. We think it may be the timer but there are lots of references to running a test program. Unfortunately...

My Bosch DW SHU5302 also got stuck during a cycle and ran and ran. Turns out this is a known problem with these DW's. The problem is that a trace on the main board burns off that controls the heater. If the heater doesn't come on then the DW keeps running waiting for the water to heat up. Re-soldering this trace fixes this problem. If you get a repair guy out, he will only change the board. They are not allowed to re-solder which doesn't fix the problem for long as the same trace will burn off. Did this about 8 years ago and it is still fine.

Am interested in buying bosch 500 series dishwasher, but notice power cord and water cord are not included. I currently have a kitchenaid DW, can I just use same cords, or do I need to purchase new cords...

you should be able to use same cord. I would use 14 guage wire will run 15amp.
it will probably say 14/2 or 14/3 on the wire.
I would say your old wire is right. make sure you find the breaker for the dishwasher and turn off power before you work on it.

While on vacation our house had been checked at one week later &again 2 weeks later, @ 3 weeks check, floor in front of dish washer & entire kitchen had standing water , as DW door was opened...

Take a long shot. Say your mains leak a little, quite possible, and you machine's inlet solenoid valve leaks a bit, say about a litre a day - you probably would not notice it during the normal course of events, in a week it would leak about 7 litres into the machine, in the second week it would have about 14 litres in it, about at the level of the door and not seen by the house visitor. The next week it would leak another 7 litres - all over the floor. Now it would be noticed?

The first cycle water is not hot - all other cycles are hot - the water in the sink next to the dishwasher is not???

Where does the dishwasher connect to hot water? If it is connected to cold it must be changed. From your description, the water is coming from a long way off and has to warm the pipes as it travels to the dw. The dw should have a heater to bring the water up to temp after filling before it runs, if this heater is not working, the first run will be cold and the next hot because you have drawn enough water through the pipes to bring hot water to the dw.
1. Change where the dw gets hw.
2. Run hw in the sink before allowing the dw to start (if connected to same line).
3. Fix the dw's water heater.

Three possible fixes. Good luck.

Bosch SHX46A dishwasher

I have a Bosch SHX46B05UC/14 and it stopped functioning right. It filled, it ran, it drained, it sounded okay, but I finally determined there wasn't enough circulation pump pressure to swing the spray arms. Turns out the problem was a pump pressure adjustment screw, accessible under the kick plate, had backed off--now if I can only figure out how to set it properly, low enough to clean the glassware, high enough not to break the pots and pans--or is it the other way around. I also found some beans in the drain sump (easy to remove cover plate from inside with a torx driver, large object trap not locked down properly and a riser for the upper spray arms not press fit sufficiently into pump outlet (I wonder if I blew the line while setting pump pressure. I AM looking for guidance on how to properly set the pump pressure, for the moment, I simply turned it into its spring loaded range and cranked it down a few turns.
