The 3 flashing red lights indicate low battery power! This could be because of low battery power (all 4 batteries must be good), the battery contacts in the camera are poor, the make of battery being used (try different make of battery)
usually fast flashing charge is faulty battery its trying to get volts in to the battery. you see the battery has a charging board on the battery not in the camera the camera sends the volts to the battery and the battery tells the camera its voltage, and when at the right volts stops charging. but these batteries can only be charged to around 10000hrs depending on the type of battery. you see when you get a new battery you need to charge it before use, now this can be 6hrs to 12hrs for fist time use if you interrupted the charge or have a power cut while it charges it can damage the charging chip in the battery. if this does the flashing light on other batteries then the signal is not being read by the camera and the camera can be faulty on the charging circuit, usually (sometimes) removing the battery for a few hours can fix this but it will rest the camera. hope this helps you.
Green light flashed, turned red, lens would not open. Put in new rechargeable batteries, still nothing. Someone here suggested to try regular AA cheapie batteries. IT WORKED!
i had a similar problem, in that the green light would flash but nothing would happen,
best to try a brand new set of batteries, and if that doesn't work, the ribbon which brings power from the batteries to everythin else may not be connected fully. if you have the skill, or know some one with the skill, just open the camera up, and check all the ribbons (the power ribbon is identified generally as a green ribbon).
I have a samsung digital camera digimax cyber 530 - just replaced batteries and camera wont start, i get 3 flashes from the green light screen nw comes on then goes off & the lens wont retrack back in the camera
remove the SD Card and the batteries. Wait for half an hour and then insert two new batteries. Do not put the SD card in as yet. (Waiting for half an hour or more allows the camera to reset itself).
I have the same camera.
But when your camera is flashing the green light, that means it's transferring pics.
If the light is just green on the camera, that means that it's charging i think.
But i don't know how to tell when my camera is through charging is my problem.
