A quick search in google reveals that you can download the manual from here:

When you click on the link it'll download the manual in pdf format automatically. It took me about a minute to download through broadband.

Good luck! We are taking our unit back. We are both professionals dealing with multiple intense things, then we get home and can't figure this stupid POS out.

A funai manuel

Funai has the manual for the PYE PY90VG here: http://www.funai-corp.com/support/om/PY90VG.pdf . Funai manufactures electronics for a number of brands and has the manuals for many of them here: http://www.funai-corp.com/support/manuals.aspx .
