Same problem here, too. It's been a couple of years since the blue light quit working, and I haven't done anything about it. Now the solenoid is starting to fail, and the electronics are out of warranty, so I'm thinking of replacing the entire faucet with a non-electronic version. That'll take care of the blue light. :-)

You're lucky the blue light ever worked! The blue light was one of the reasons I chose this faucet for my new kitchen, but once it was installed...it never worked at all!! I should have made contractor remove it and bring me a new one. (The red light that I never cared about at all, works fine though, go figure).

  • Solid Blue - Normal operation, "Touch" mode is activated.
  • Flashing Blue - Normal operation, the hands-free mode is activated.
  • Solid Red - Warning mode - Replace batteries as soon as possible. While the water is running Solid Red LED is illuminated. When the water is off, the Red LED flashes once every 5 seconds. The faucet operates normally, solenoid valve is open.
  • Rapid Flash Red - Alert Mode - Battery Failure Imminent. The Red LED flashes once a second. The first time the faucet is used, the Red LED will turn ON, the solenoid valve will be opened and remain open. The manual valve must be used until the batteries are replaced.
  • Solid Red - Lockdown Mode - Replace Batteries. Extremely Low Batteries - The RED LED is ON, and water will not flow. The solenoid valve is closed and faucet will not operate until batteries are replaced.
  • Long Flash Red (2 seconds on / 2 seconds off) - Board error, replace electronics kit, RP53230 See manual bypass of electronics section of Installation instructions.

Same issue. Has anyone figured out how to get the blue led to work? I’m seeing the blue and red light emitted from the solenoid but only red light lights up on the faucet base.

SOURCE: red L.E.D light won't stop flashing

Shaving head check indication After two years of use the red shaving unit symbol î will flash for 30 seconds during 7 shaves to indicate that you should check the condition of the shaving heads. This indication is based on an average shaving time of 3 minutes per shave. When the shaving head symbol flashes, all other symbols and lights are out. When the shaver is switched off, the shaving unit symbol disappears. When the red shaving unit symbol starts flashing, you should check the shaving heads for possible damage. If the shaving heads are damaged in any way, they must be replaced in order to obtain optimal shaving results

SOURCE: Delta Faucet (Series 2467) Sprayer doesn't work

Yes, the diverter assembly is probably corroded or clogged shut. Garunteed its the problem on a 10 year old delta kitchn faucet. The diverter routes water from the spout to the sprayer when the sprayer is triggered.

I have Delta touchless faucet that will not turn on when you touch it. Changed batteries and there is no blue or red light

My recommendation is to reset the LED light wire and battery pack. To do this, disconnect the LED light wire from the solenoid. Disconnect the battery pack and wait a full minute. While you are waiting a full minute, you can check batteries to see if they are in good condition, even try new batteries. Make sure all batteries are in the correct direction and are tightly secured in the battery pack. After a full minute, reconnect the LED light wire into the solenoid and then reconnect the battery pack. Wait another full minute. After the full minute, you can then check your faucet and see if the lights work . If this procedure does not fix your issue, contact Delta Customer Service at (800)345-3358 Monday-Friday, 7am-7pm, CST and Saturday, 8am-5pm, CST. You may also email them at [email protected].

Just installed a Delta Touch20 kitchen faucet. When using the touch feature the faucet turns down to a trickle but does not completely shut off, even after several minutes. Any suggestions?

Check installation manual if there is some indication about some kind of advice for this case. If there is no indication for the user, most probably your Delta Touch20 kitchen faucet is defective. Check your warranty terms about how you can return it to be changed or send it for service, so probably you'll have to uninstall it.

My Delta type kitchen sink handle is loose and keeps shutting water off. I have to turn it up a lot to keep it going. I could remove Red / Blue plug and do not know what to do beyond to tighten it?

Inside the handle of a Delta kitchen sink faucet is a small setscrew. You need an 1/8th inch allean wrench or Delta faucet tool to lossen the setscrew. Rotat the screw about 3 full turns counterclockwise, this should be emough to remove the hnalde. Under the Delta faucet handle is a white plastic ring with four notches. If you have a Delta faucet tool, you place it in two of the notches and slowly turn the ring clockwise to tighten the Delta ball assemby. This will keep the handle from moving by itself. If you do not have Delta faucet tool, use a pair of needle nose pliers in stead.

We just installed the new delta pilar touch in our new home last week and the red light is already on and no water, does that mean the batteries are done already? And will the water not work manually even...

Levina, I recommend you call Delta's Customer Service Department and explain about the red light. If the batteries were new when they were installed, they should still be good. I had a problem with our Delta Pilar and when I called, the customer service representative was very helpful and solved the problem while we were talking. Good luck and please post back to let us know what happened.

Broken Sensor Sterling Touch Immobiliser

There are 4 wires going to the touch pad unit which has an LED in it. The unit has 4 pins (or legs) to which the wires must be soldered. As you say, there are two blue wires plus a red and also a black - although as you also correctly observe, only three wires are present (blue, red and black) in the connector at the other end of the loom which plugs into the control module.

The blue simply splits two ways within the loom, and these are earths. The black carries a pulsing voltage to drive the LED, and the red (which should measure a constant 5v on a voltmeter) is an input which senses when a key is touched on the pad.

Use a continuity tester or ohmmeter to establish which of the four pins on the touch unit connects to the CENTRE pin of the touchpad. Solder the RED wire to this pin. (Best to start by putting some heat shrink up the wire as the pins on the touch unit are quite close together and there's not much to stop them touching.)

Again using the continuity tester (or ohmmeter) establish which of the remaining three pins goes to the OUTER ring of the touchpad. To this, solder one of the BLUE wires - it doesn't matter which one. You must however get the wires to the touchpad the correct way around in order for the key to be read.

You're now left with one BLACK and one BLUE wire which drive the LED, and two pins on the unit which have no connections. The LED will only light when you get these the correct way around. You will not do no harm if you connect them the wrong way round - the LED will simply remain unlit.

One you have soldered the BLUE and the BLACK wires in place so the LED is flashing, simply test your work by touching a key on the touchpad. If all is well, the LED will light continuously for a period and it should be possible to start the car.
