SOURCE: Watch has correct day and date only 1/2 each day

The watch thinks at Noon it is really midnite, so you must scroll 12 hours ahead to repair this. There are usually 2 "clicks" on the stem of the watch when you pull it out, 1 will set time, 1 will set the day/date, be careful to pay close attention to which is happening when you pull out the stem, and setting should go well after that.

SOURCE: replace the back of a dkny watch after replacing the battery,

For closing your caseback you need the man with very strong hands first, but it might not work as some casebacks can be closed using special tools only.
Before you visit the watchmaker, try this: first of all open your bracelet by taking out spring lug. This will make more space at the back. Then take watch caseback and check for groove in it. Align that groove with stem (pin going into watch movement) and deepen grooved caseback side as it should be. Then without turning caseback apply great pressure with both hands to the watch(from caseback and dial sides). If hands are strong enough, caseback should snap on into place.
In case if it doesn't work, find a piece of thick leather (wide mens belt will do) and place it on completely flat surface (table top). Place the watch face down on that leather, adjust caseback groove with stem again and try to press caseback down with both hands, only this time using your weight.
If all mentioned above doesn't work- you have to go to see watchmaker.

Good luck.

SOURCE: how to remove back to replace battery

take it to a reputable jeweler who can water test after the cell is replaced...if the gasket gets damaged with the caseback off the watch it will no longer be water resistant and will most definately rust if exposed to water

SOURCE: how do I remove links from geneva wrist watch band

Take a small hammer and a plastic push pin. Look at the pins in your watch. One side will have a line going through the tip of the pin, and the other side may also have that, but it will be less pronounced. Set your watch on a soft surface (couch cushion or cork board, for example) and place the pushpin onto the pin you want to remove. Tap with a hammer until a few millimeters are sticking out on the other side. Take a pair of needlenose pliers and remove the pin. To put a pin back in the band, push it back in until you cannot push anymore, then use your needlenose pliers to push the pin in the rest of the way. Good luck!
