Hi..in general i always set the high and low screws at 2 turns out from a complete stop..and please dont tighten the screws too tight..it will bend the needles...I think it will..or should run at them settings...as far as the gas out of the engine..it is or has a problem with the carb...did you remove the carb...? Also try starting it with only starting fluid for a very short time..this is how I check to see if all else is ok..spray it in the carb in take...

Why won't my McColluch weed eater create a vacuum

Did you check the muffler exhaust or spark arrester, to see if it is clogged from using to rich a oil/gas mixture ? Did you replace the diaphragm in correct position ? Find a new carb online, possibly ebay ?

THE FS 46C WEEDEATER WILL IDLE JUST FINE, BUT WILL NOT REV UP WHEN PULLING ON THE TRIGGER. THE THROTTLE CABLE IS NOT DISCONNECTED AND THE CARB IS CLEAN. ANY SUGGESTIONS?

easy... if the carb adjustments are still factory set the you just need to replace the muffler screen or also called a spark arrester.it covers the muffler exit....

My Stihl FS 85 Weed Eater gets no fire to the spark plug

older models have a pick up and condenser for spark. newer models have pick up and ignition module. the pick up rust the condensers and modules go bad. first take apart to expose flywheel then ck for rust on flywheel at pick up if rusty clean set pick up clearance to that of a matchbook or ten thousands of a inch.if still no spark change condenser or module.

Stihl FS 110 brush cutter loop trimmer ''weed eater'' won't start. I've changed gas and spark plugs and it still won't start. Tool is 5 years old. Help! D.W. from NC

Check the fuel filter, you are not getting fuel so therefore the spark is not getting anything. You can also take some carb cleaner and clean your carb. This is a common carb issue and it needs either a new filter(recommend) and also some carb cleaner shot through the system
