Whirlpool door are a bit difficult to remove from the stove. the owners manual may tell you what you need to do to remove it. Once you have it off then the door can be taken apart by removing tye screws that hold it together. This should be done on a flat surface and taking a lot of care. Remember how it comes apart and reverse the procedure when putting it back together. If you break a glass they are expensive to replace if available.
You need to remove the inner door panel, Usually a few screws holding it on. On some models the handle screws also need to be removed. Do it slowly and carefully as the door may want to swing up quickly, once the weight on it is removed. Pay close attention to each step so all screws etc go back in the same place. Make a diagram as you take them out to be sure.
This unit may have a door lock built in to the control unit lockout. To release it you may have to turn off the oven circuit breaker in your house circuit box. If not, it is just jammed and you will need to wobble it free.
If you mean between the inner and outer panes of glass; you will regret it. It's likely that both are mounted with a fragile heat-proof mineral (non-asbestos) gasket material that may crumble once the panes expose it.
take the trim peices off. take the screws that hold it to the wall out slidee unit out a little to remove the 2 screws from the consol lift the consol up and off. make sure that you have turned the power off inside the unit you will see a tech sheet that will tell you what that error code means. let me know how it goes the tech sheet is usually on the left side.
The answer is not as hard as it seems. I just tried for 10 minutes unsuccessfully to put the glass back in the two side tracks. Well the glass actually goes in front of them, the top holds the glass in place.
I have a whirlpool accubake wall oven. Half-way through baking a pie ,unknown to me, the oven went to the self-clean mode , the door locked and the pie started to burn. I tried to turn the oven off but it would not cut off. I immediately ran to the house's main power and turned off the oven breaker. I waited for a short time to let the oven cool enough to open the door and get the burned pie out, then went back to turn my breaker back on and the oven (even though in the off mode) started heating again with the bottom unit turning red again. I had to then go back and pull the power. We tried this several times trying to push the off button but the oven will not go off until we throw the breaker. Help please!
