Konica Minolta 1580 MFP Printer, i refilled the Cartridge, still its show the message replace toner and not printing ... please help how to reset the printer settings... i have researched a lot and found that no issue with toner.. we need to reset the printer ...... i dont know how

There is no Chip on this printer...
i went to a Local Printer repair shop, the guy pressed the some buttons combination while the toner cover opened, and closed the cover and pressed few buttons thats it .. voila it worked , with the same toner i refilled... he got Service charge of Rs.700 for his 40 seconds work.. he did not let me to see the combination of buttons..
I decided to find out the things how he did... and i will post it here...

A couple of suggestions. 1. make sure there is not any plastic shipping tabs that need to be removed from the cartridge. 2. try reseating the cartridge. 3. Try replacing that cyan cartridge. It may be defective. Also make sure you use Minolta brand toners!

When the front door is open, it locks the 4 cartridges so they can not move. The tab is flimsy & I broke mine on the second or third change. It pushes on a mechanical switch just above the toner port. If you broke the tip of the tab off, you can use a drywall screw inserted into the Mechanical switch. when the door closes the bigger part of the tab will push the screw against the switch,
Please check if you removed the Plastic Tapes which is placed in the side lock of the new Toner Cartridge.

minolta printers work on "chips" if the chip atached to the cartridge is not original minolta you better change it.
