SOURCE: sewing backwards

The reverse button works by hitting it twice in succession to make it stay on (it lights up), and you turn it off my hitting it once again. If you just want to reverse for a little bit, you hold it down while you sew, then let go. Is the button lit all the time?
Having said that, it sounds like Nannayoyo needs to take her machine to a service centre - the electronics behind the button panel might need replacing. Is it possible the button is stuck in? Maybe phone a Husqvarna service person - not a sales person - and ask for advice.
Everyone - are your machines new? If yes, you need to go back to the sales centre straight away and get it fixed or replaced while you wait. If these are problems that have just appeared when your machine used to work perfectly, probably the best solution is to take it for a service. It might just be a speck of dust has settled on the electronics behind the panel and is causing unpredictable behaviour.

SOURCE: backward stitching

Knowing which kind of machine you have helps alot. Just guessing but maybe the reverse mechanism is stuck and needs some oil in it to free it up. Or the buttonhole mechanism is stuck in reverse part of it.
Probably you should have it looked at.

oil it. down the shaft if you can get to it. and where ever there is a hole it always helps.

SOURCE: Pfaff 1222's 3 stretch stitches sew wrong and backwards only.

It sounds like the feed mechanism needs oil.

Why is my 7700 only stitching backwards

Follow the instructions below if the machine is stuck on reverse
1. Turn the machine off.
2. The reverse button may be stuck in the reverse position.
- Press and release the button to see if it releases and allows the machine to sew in the forward direction.
3. Check that you have selected the correct stitch.
Some stitches will sew in reverse and some will sew reinforcement stitches.
4. Make sure you are holding down the button while sewing 3-5 stitches.
If you do not hold the button down while sewing reinforcement stitches, the needle will sew in the same place.
5. Remove bobbin and clean the bobbin area. Reinstall bobbin.
6. Turn the machine off and hold the reverse button for 3-5 seconds.
7. Turn the machine back on and test to see if the machine will sew forward.

My sewing machine will only sew in reverse

The stitch length lever on some machines will back stitch when the lever is in the uppermost position. Bring the lever down to an appropriate stitch length and your machine should stitch forward.

My feed dogs are going backwards

They are suppose to feed from the front to the back - that is the direction you are to sew.

If they are going forward, the machine is in reverse/back-up.

The reverse/back-up button/lever is in the reverse position or stuck, depending on how your brand/model of sewing machine is designed

Janome machine going backwards instead of forwards. Goes forward if I hold the reverse button down.

sounds like a screw may have become missing to keep the reverse knob in its proper position so it is backwards inside the machine

Only sews backwards

You probably have it in the buttonhole stitch.
