It's possible to reset the DTXPRESS electronic drum kit to its factory default settings by performing a Factory Reset. Here's how you can do it:
Press and hold the [DRUM KIT] and [SAMPLE] buttons while turning on the power switch. The display will show "FACTORY RESET OK?" Press the [DRUM KIT] button to execute the factory reset. The display will show "INITIALIZING" while the reset is being performed. When the reset is complete, the display will show "COMPLETED". Note: Performing a factory reset will delete all user kits, samples, and other custom settings that you have made. Be sure to save any custom kits or settings that you want to keep before performing the reset.
Hello, You may want to reset your machine, all data and pre loaded programs, for this you must turn on your M50 press the global mode button, click on the top arrow next to (basic) select option 2, load pre-preloaded demo data, you then choose all (PCG and demo songs). press OK. Your Korg will re install all factory samples, data and settings. Once completed It will then instruct you to turn off your machine. give it a minute or so to self upgrade before turning it back on, once you turn it back on you should see updating panel notifications right and left, you should be able to use all of the sounds and combi's available for M50. that's a factory reset. It can be reverted to the original factory preset very easily. Simply press MEM&CTRL button, then select Initial from the LCD menu then followed by Total Organ
Also there may be a memory battery in the unit that is depleted that needs changing if you find settings are lost when power is removed.
