To Play Games? Or How to work the Thing?

To Make it work... Simply plug in the Device to a PC, Mac, PlayStation, Xbox, Apple Pipin, Linux Computer, PS2 Tool Development Computer... ETC... Then Wait For nessesary Drivers to be installed. Then you could use this as a Storage device... Or a Password Reset disk.

If You want to play it... Or Play games on it... Simply Plug it in to the USB drive... Then copy already downloaded game to USB Drive. Simple. Then you can take it anywhere you go.

Now if this is not the answer you are looking for... Please add some more descriptive Details... Thanks!

How do I connect to USB on Sinotec 42inch. I found the port but I can't find USB options on the screen

you posted to computer help for TV? why not post to TV?
best , always is RTM read the manual no 2 TV work exactly the same. (nor did tell what you expect of that USB port?)
the post lacks the real and full Sinotec model number on that sticker on the rear, so getting the exact manual proves impossible.
so ill read the first one to you.
quote Page 21 in 1st manual I find on this brand,
TVs are no like Computers in the way USB is more predictable.
TVs love to fail, for wrong for formats. (fat32, or ntfs or?)
My guess's (wild) is a movie file is on a USB memory stick.?
I can put any movie.mkv on my stick plug it in and use it.
it shows up on TV as and INPUT device.

Notes about using USB

= Before using this function, make sure that you select the correct source (USB) and insert a USB storage device on

the TV to view compatible photo, movie and text on the TV screen or play compatible music through the TV.

= If the connected USB HDD does not have an external power source, it may not be detected. Be sure to connect the

external power source.

= To avoid losing the data on your USB device or damaging your USB device, it is recommended that you back up your USB

device data.

= The USB multi media playing menu may vary in different situations.

= If you want to pull out the USB device, please exit USB mode first.

= For instructions on using your USB device, refer to the owner's manual for your USB device.

= Never remove the USB device or turn off the TV while using the USB device. Doing so may result in loss of data and/or

damage to the USB device and/or TV.
= Certain types of USB devices may not be compatible with this TV.
page 21 also shows hitting USB button on remote (lost that?)o
and see photos on a USB or a movie. Photos , movie or text it tells.

here is my wild guess on the model.
https://www.manualslib.com/manual/918457/Sinotec-St-29me70h1.html?page=23#manual

the TV has multimedis player inside, this works for USB.
page 26 covers what movie FILE formats work.
format the usb stick as Fat32 is one safe first guess and try.
good luck with using USB. (the manuals on TV are very very limited on (what it needs to work right)on this TOPIC.
one poster back 2014 this brand
tells. supports fat16/32,and NTFS. and JPG,PMP and PNG photos. and what page 26 tells you,.

I have a Sharp LC-6577UM. Can I plug in a USB memory stick and play a movie from the usb stick?

As long as you have a memory stick large enough to hold the size of a movie, the answer is yes.
http://listoffreeware.com/list-best-free-media-players/
Remember the player you select must be able to play the type of Movie that you downloaded to the USB Stick.

Playing .avi files on USB stick directly to TV?

as you did not provided the manufacturer (brand), model or version - we do not know if your tv is capable of direct play of .avi files, you need to go to the manufacturers site and check what supported formats are.

Can't play video on sharp lc-32sb24u

The USB port on LC-32SB24U is only for firmware and other service updates. The TV can't understand the video file format; you will need to connect the TV to your computer as a monitor to display the videos. The manual discusses using the Service port starting on page 26. The manual is available here: http://static.highspeedbackbone.net/pdf/Sharp_LC37SB24U_LC32SB24U_Manual.pdf .

I wish that I had better news for you.

Can i play movies off a USB in the tv's USB port, if so, how ??

OK, well I have used this many many times. You simply need to copy the Movie in any of the Formats that the set can use, and copy the Movie to the USB stick. When the stick is inserted, using the remote you simply "Select" that "USB Input" and select the Movie, and select "Play", IF the right Format, has been used, the Movie will "Play" as if it was a DVD.
Consult your manual. link below.

My Sharp Flat Screen Tv Model LC32SB24U has a USB input recepticle in the back. I bought a usb cable connected it to my computer and nothing happens? what is it used for. My tV came with NO disc for...

The USB entry is mostly used for a foto slide show.
Please read the owners manual before plugging in any kind of USB sticks or other cable's in a TV set.
It can damage the set when there is a ground connection between some devices.

Wont play burnt dvds

Hello i have the same player and i had to do a Firmware Update to update my player so it won't cause this problem (also it could play the recent new blu ray movies). Go to www.sharp.net.au for Australia or www.sharp.net.nz for New Zealand. go to Support, Downloads, put in your Model number then it should have a list of updates you can use. If it says for USB then download it to your USB and then plug it into the back of your player. Go through your operation manual to how to do Software Update, then follow the instructions. If it says for cd/dvd then burn it onto the disk first.
I hope this helps. I can play burnt dvd's on mine with no worries.

I need to receive a manual on the operation of my sharp tv

I believe your TV is a LC-32SB24U, not LC-325B24U.
You can download a manual at www.sharp.ca/manuals
