Kodak Easy Share V1003 camera is frozen. Turned

Kodak Easy Share V1003 camera is frozen. Turned it on, lens extended, now it is frozen. Nothing will make it work. Took battery out, made sure it was charged, put it back in, nothing. Frozen like a cube of ice.

Your fix could be as simple as cleaning the camera's battery contacts, or it could be something more serious and expensive. Before you pay for expensive repairs that you may or may not need, check the Kodak Help Center by clicking on the link below. It uses a simple Q&A format to diagnose problems and propose solutions.

I was downloading my pictures from my kodak easy share v1003 to the easy share program. the camera was recognized the downloading showed up as downloading to a file foler by date. it finished downloading,...

I?ll be fine. All your original pictures are on the C drive. Unless you have changed the directory onto which you save when transferring: You can find the pictures under C-Drive, my pictures. The camera might need to be recharged. The camera doesn't charge from the computer while transferring pics. You will need to switch the camera off before the camera will start charging.

Shattered lens? not sure, but looks like it

Going to have to replace the camera. You can also try to turn it in to Kodak for repair but your easier route is to replace the camera.

I have a Kodak Easy Share M1033. I turned it on the lens extended but now the camera's stuck. I can't turn the camera off at all.

Try the Kodak Easy Share web site and look for trouble shooting FAQ'a or even an on-line forum.

You also might e-mailing or calling their tech support.
