Bad batteries, no matter what the charger says. Especially true if lithium ion. You could have the radios on the charger and still get beeping if bad. Replace and post if this did not fix the issue. OR, it is a bad charger, use more than 1 charger if you have them.
I get a full days use from the batteries so don't believe they are faulty. The radios are 2 months old. Hard to believe that all 4 are faulty.

Hi David DeGroot, I want to help you with your question, but I need more information from you. Can you please add details in the comment box? make and model
Brad, the radios I have are 2 months old and they are TK3501 Kenwoods. They randomly beep. I have completed a factory reset on all the units. They have existing TK3301 Kenwoods. I have a hard time believing that all 4 radios have defective batteries or chargers. An 8 hour charge gives then 8-10 hours of usage. Any ideas ?
Constant beeping is very different from random. You sound like you know radios. Time out timer beeps after 60 seconds, unlikely, low battery warning, also unlikely. I suspect Busy Channel Lockout. If the channel is already in use, the radio beeps to warn you that you cannot or should not transmit. All frequencies are shared, so someone on the same frequency but different code will cause this. It is on by default.

kenwood support said it is the contacts on the back of the radio and battery. i cleaned the contacts and i don't know if it did the fix. I will advise... Strange one...
Yes it is strange. I use rubbing alcohol, or a pencil eraser for the contacts. For a charger with battery contacts (not a USB type) I use a mild sandpaper, like 600 grit. Very lightly. The possibility of a contaminant or "mold" release on the battery contacts is certainly possible. I just do not see it often, esp. on new equipment. If the contacts do not really connect well, I would expect the lights not to change.
