How do I keep my lg optimus g60 from vibrating when sending and receiving multimedia messages and picture messages

If the texting works but the Multimedia messaging does not. It would likely be an interruption of your data services. Most wireless providers can't send picture messages on wifi. So please make sure wifi is turned off and the the phone has Mobile Data turned to ON. This can be reached usually under [apps] [settings] [Mobile Network] Data enabled should be checked.

1. Were you sending by Wi-fi and left a wi-fi zone?
2. Do you perhaps block your data?
3. Did you run out money on your account?

for sending text messages :
1.go to your message settings and check the message center number to see if it is correct
2. call to your network operator customer care
3. request the message center number...
4.note it down
5. go to message settings>message center number
6. insert the number which is noted by you and save it

this solves your messaging problem ...

It is Bcoz it does not support multimedia msg...!!!!!!!!!!

Try taking the Battery out for 20 sec. then reinstall and try again.

Maybe you don't have MMS service, its a Multimedia Messaging Service, please subscribe to your provider to be able to send or receive picture and all sorts of multimedia.

If you can not receive or send multimedia messages the first thing to check would be if your cell phone plan has that option enabled, if not I would contact you service provider and add that feature to your existing plan (which may cost extra per month).

If you know you have multimedia messaging as a feature then I would check the user manual for that phone and see if the phone itself is capable of receiving picture/video messages as some phones are not physically capable of receiving large amounts of data at a a time such as when receiving multimedia messages.

call the customer service of your service provider ( AT&T,Vodafone,Verizon etc)....they will set up multimedia message services on your sim..your mobile operator will send you sim updates that will refresh the settings ....and then you will get the picture message options
