My Veon 32'' tv wont turn on

From what I have learned, what we older techs called eeprom chips, is probably bad. I think some people call it a system memory chip. Not gonna fix it without some soldering skills.

Different remote protocol. Probably a different series of t.v. or different manufacturer (most t.v.s are made to spec by build houses that produce for many different brands)

Hi if U r using 3 RCA cables RED WHITE ,& YELLOW connect them to the input sockets on TV red is audio & white is audio yellow is picture then set the TV to AV .. INPUT.cheers

The eject button on the remote appears as an upward-pointing arrow with an underline - see below image. The eject button on the TV has a similar symbol.




However, I suspect that in your case, you might not be having a Remote.

This link says that your TV doesn't come with a Remote and DVD cannot be ejected without the remote :
