Buy a generic multi voltage charger or any cell phone charger (they run on 3 volts) from a local electronics store or cell phone accessory shop, then solder and shrink tube your charging adapter onto the leak on the charger. You most likely can't buy the original charger. When you install the old charger end on the new charger end that plugs into your device make sure you pay attention to the polarity, one lead is market with a white stripe, one with none.
I have not been able to find a replacement transformer anywhere! I have been looking online and in stores for an entire week. This is the second time, I have blown a transformer. I believe we have to purchase a new unit once again.
I had the same problem. I found a replacement battery pack at Battery World Center 1032 E. Main St., Alhambra, CA 91801 626-576-8166 They replaced it for me for a total cost of $20. Not sure where you are from. Hope they can help you. Maybe you can ship it to them for service? Good Luck. I love my Acuvibe 6002. There is nothing else like it anymore.
Dont listen to Joe...continue as you are but buy a second one so you can switch off when one gets too hot. You can contact accuvibe makers at www.humantouch.com
The current unit sold by Brookstone does not have a power cord. The unit is sealed and the battery is not replaceable. Many units eventually quit working when recharging cycle quits. Only solution is to replace the unit or contact Brookstone for their service center. Probably cheaper to replace the unit.
