Make sure you are using ports other than the USB port. Vivitek Service indicates that at least some of their projectors do not use the USB port for input. "The USB port is not in input port. You can go to the Vivitek website and they have a handy distance calculator to help you know the correct distance to place your projector from the screen to achieve an appropriate size.
