Cooker delonghi professional dfs903 6 ring hob has terible fan like noise whenever you turn the oven on which has now become unbearable and occurs whether using the grill, the oven on fan setting or not....

i had the same problem, the noise is coming from a circular fan located under the hob itself. not from the fan at the back of the oven.its a cooling fan.i bought a new one online around £70 and got a local gas fitter to install it. its a real big job and most if not all of the gas connections to the hob have to be disconnected its a big job.but worth it.
i have the same problem with the door, thats what im looking for.
if i find a solution ill let you know

We purchased a Frigidaire cooker, electric oven, propane gas hob. It seemed odd that the hob rings take ages to boil a pan of water, cooking with oil is extremely difficult as it takes way too long to get...

Is this a mistake? It's impossible that nozzles didn't helped...? Just impossible.
Or was this problem posted before our chat session..?

Beko dc543 oven and top left top right bottom right hobs not working bottom left hob is working and so is grill i have checked all terminal wires and all ok i had this problem before under...

I AM NOT AN ELECTRICIAN ! But i have had the same problem of the oven and the back right ring not working and have found the cause of this. For some reason there is a thermal fuse running inline on a live wire inside the cooker if you feel competent yourself in replacing this fuse you will save a good deal of money on call out fees, here is how to do it. SAFETY is the crucial, First of all isolate the power source to the cooker, pull out cooker so you can get access to the back of the cooker, remove the 9 screws ( i think there is 9) to remove the back plate from the cooker, this is quite heavy because there is a small block of concrete fastened to the bottom left hand side of the back plate, looking at the inside of the cooker on the right hand side you will see a white wire which has been secured via a small screwed clip, this wire has a transparent sleeve covering the thermal fuse, remove the sleeve by sliding it up or down the wire, check the fuse by with a meter just to be sure, if it is blown cut the fuse out. replace fuse the same way it was fitted. replace the sleeve and fit the back on the cooker SAFETY FIRST switch on power and try oven and back ring, mine works fine. like i said at the start i am not an electrician, but i can not understand why there is a thermal fuse running inline to the oven which is linked the back right hob. all the best folks Hobbo from Chess.

Zanussi Electric Cooker and Hob don't work properly

it will have nothing to do with the supply, although it does sound as though he could have done a better job. if the appliances are brand new get Zanussi out to it. shame on the guy for not checking that they worked as they should. hope this helps.

Induction hob switching off

check that the hob is wired correctly underneath 1,2,3 should be linked together as live 4,5 as neutral and earth takes its place as earth,

if it is wired correctly then i m afraid the hob needs a new induction element it is all one complete unit on these hobs not seperate so your looking at £1000 + to fix it plus engineer call out charges

Hob turns off

hi im gerbee my suggestion is replace the pcv control wat brand u have, always also in philipines the electric hob is so very sensitive, the pcv cotrol is not repairable.or next time u by a new one gas cooktop more ok compare to electric ceramic hob, or use electric ceramic hob w/knob control compare to sensor type,i think the part of the sensor or pcv control is so very expensive, that why i buy an another one.dont try to repair more difficult to com.tnx
